Seriously cannot get over how wonderful this song and this album is. It makes me feel so good every time I listen to it. One of those groups that give you crazy butterflies with each song
she can shine brighter in the sky now better than ever before, she rests in peace with all the other stars that once brought brightness to her life. RIP Fontella Bass you surely lit up my life.
Wow this came out in 2002? Why am I just discovering this gem 2 years ago? Wow. Such a wonderful song, and a beautiful songstress. May she Rest In Peace.
when i was 15, i downloaded frank herbert's 3rd dune via dc++ and i had been listening to this song over and over again while i was reading the pdf files... best music-literature match ever.
oui soiree mabillon ... sinon que dire de ce morceau qu'il est SACREMENT genial pour l ouie .... et magique a chaque fois que je l ecoute mes MEMBRES s agitent quelque soit ceux ci ... un morceau qui merite d exister . j aime
@vBlogmiscarrage Ma Fleur is beautiful, but if you want more drum-based stuff like this track then go for Everyday. Though every single album by them is amazing, so whatever album you get is worth it.
This is the kind of track you usually only hear on WWOZ. There seem to be so many versions of Evolution. I guess this one is identified as ft. Fontella Bass? Or is it original mix or something?
I think by far, this is the first version, but I would say it's not about versions but perspectives and context, this was just a song (and a really cool one) for the album, however my favorite one is for the soundtrack of A man with a movie camera, that one just kill it completely with instrument and your life while you listen that version is just a movie. Even tho, and again, this version (from the album Every Day) isn't bad, actually it's iconic enough
