Altitudes: An altitude of a triangle is a segment from any vertex perpendicular to the line containing the opposite side.
Medians: A median of a triangle is a segment joining any vertex to the midpoint of the opposite side.
The altitudes meet in a point and the median also. A line through the two points also go through a third point, which one?
My geometry teacher tried to teach me this today, but I just couldn't get it. Thank you for teaching me medians and altitudes!! I actually understand it now!

How do you find the orthocenter with coordinates && the length of the median??
Median- segment between a vertex of the triangle and the midpoint on the opposite side.
Altitude- is the perpendicular segment from a vortex to the opposite side.
Orthocenter- the point where the altitudes of the triangle come together.

so the whole entire line is multiplied by the two number that are divided by the 2/3 and the 1/3....is that how to do it
+Jemaria Watford ok well how I did it was I had the amount of the 1/3 line( the smaller part of the line) set at 7. if you were looking for the entire line with knowing that the 1/3 part is 7 you would multiply 7 by 3. if you were only trying find the 2/3 line( the bigger part of the entire line) you would multiply that 7 by 2 to get 14 which is 2/3 of 21. I hope this helps you good luck
