  • Graham and I startet filming this project last summer when he gave me all his awesome GoPro footage.
He was such a nice and funny person to spent time with.
I always felt lucky to be his friend.
Everytime we talked about the video he was super excited about the release.
I hope you would have loved the video.
    R.I.P brother.

A true sportsman does not disrespect his sport. He had a death wish mate. He did not care whatsoever about anything but pushing it beyond a joke for fb likes. They’re addictive. Combine those and subsequent media attention with the most dangerous sport on the planet and bang......you’re dead. I’m being perhaps rude but I have 50+ dead mates from this sport in 15yrs including many close ones.

Your comment touched my soul. So, I understand your sense of loss. My condolence.
I'm thinking of going into hang gliding, not in a hardcore kinda way, if you know what I mean; I just want to experience the freedom of free flight, even if it's two complete solo flights. But I still think of all the people who have lost their lives doing such free flight sports and have the fear that it might happen to me. All the same, I still want to experience nothing else but hang gliding. Sky diving and wing suit flying are definitely not for me. I know that everyday of life is full of potentially deadly risks. Those two are very dangerous.

I went back and watched his flights and I am convinced that he knew he was not going to survive for long because each flight line brought him within feet to yards of crashing multiple times during the descent and many times he ventured into ravines where he could not see that far in advance. Thus I have to conclude that the adrenalin killed him.

That's stupid kind of thinking. Yeah, let's blame it on the social media. Don't get me wrong I totally understand your point but that's not the excuse. We make decisions and live the way we decide. There are plenty of ways to make money today. He made his choice and we should respect that. Was it worth it? Nobody knows but maybe his smile could tell. In the end we all end up dead. Question is should we live "safe" or live to the fullest? This is literally a niche sport, no one is driving anything. Other than the persons own ego and vanity. He wanted to live, he did. People say big risks bring big rewards, they seem to forget that it also brings about large consequences as well.

The usual 'Are _we_ to blame?' question. Blame anybody and everybody except the people themselves. This has got nothing to do with anyone except themselves. They chose this way of life of their own free will - and probably in the teeth of advice not to. We feel sorry for them, and in particular for their families, who shouldn't have to lose loved ones in this way. But there is absolutely no way that anyone is to blame.

Too many people watching UA-cam and go get basic skydiving training, but can’t be bothered waiting to do their 200 jumps before learning properly, so more and more people are cutting corners just to get to what their feel entitled to do!
Just to get my tracking suit ordered I had to prove who I was, provide licencing, photo ID, and I still knew the people personally where they made them!
I’ve been skydiving since 17, 21 years now, BASE since 20, and I’ve done about 150 wing suit jumps, prob half from a plane, the rest fro mountain, but I’ve earned my right where unskilled skydivers don’t even realise that a Wring sized suit can stop you being able to deploy, cause line overs from not being in the right position before deployment and so many other factors, an it’s destroying our sports reputation having unskilled and not ready pilots push limits well beyond what they’re capable of!,, and I lost my mentor and teacher about a year or two ago, an E licenced veteran with several thousand jumps under his canopy, and I still dint entirely know how, but on a routine tandem something went horribly wrong and both Adrian and passenger were killed!
Age of entitlement where no one wants to put the effort in to learn how to do things the right and safe ways and do it now!

I just read a pretty long article about this guy. It makes me sick the way it ended. This guy had so much experience and expertise and definitely did his homework. I don’t understand why (knowing there was zero margin for error) he didn’t plan his approach to “the hole” dangerously high, given that he could descend at the last moment, but not vice versa. I’m guessing that maybe he did, and somehow lost more altitude than planned in the 12 seconds his flight lasted. Yes I am totally ignorant, just wondering if anyone has any theories about how this happened. Seems like the guy was definitely a risk taker, but very calculated and very disciplined, not some cocky and reckless .....
