As Lightray said, you've got the laser cannons on the wrong sides. They look like they have flattened surfaces that should meet with the hull when put in the right side, so that may fix the problem with not being straight. In addition, I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone mention this before (at least, I haven't seen it), but the Ground Buzzer on the T-47 is the same gun that Han deploys from the Falcon in ESB to kill the snowtroopers setting up the E-Web in the hangar. Just because of that, it's automatically better than the harpoon.
That's so sweet it looks an awful lot like the old powers of the Force 1 that I have although yours has a little cleaner Hull plating some of the hull plating is missing on mine and spots it's the way they designed them the Hoff snowspeeders is supposed to be, together from spare parts
You'll have to make a video showing off all the paint jobs on your figures. Looking forward to seeing how you do the snowspeeder's paint as it has so much promise.
I know, I was just being silly. I only even used the Striker because almost all of it's Bios start something like "This craft designed primarily for atmospheric flight..." Hehe ;)
I just wanna say you put the Speeders' blasters on upside down. The Little nodule thing on the end is supposed to be on the bottom. I hope you haven't glued them on yet.
You can sometimes find a deal if someone is selling an entire collection, so you may save money that way. However, I find that part of this game is the hobby aspect - and I absolutely adore that part. I would recommend diving into the hobby aspect if that's something you think you also might enjoy.
A lot of 40k players and Dropfleet. magnetize the prices you would want to change either for look or rules. Look like it be a good option for the vehicles in Legion.
I plan on trying to use the Harpoon to turn an AT-ST then use Wedge's ability to pivot the Airspeeder aimed right at the back of the AT-ST them Kablam! :)
You are correct, but think on this. Wedge's card says that until the end of the activation, pivots you perform can be up to 360. The harpoon says you can perform a pivot with the target vehicle. Does that mean Wedge can harpoon something and turn it completely around?
No, the Harpoon Pivots the target vehicle and Wedge's ability lets you pivot his vehicle (T-47). And the 360 degrees is silly but I guess it eliminates any potential arguments. Basically when you use it you can point his vehicle any direction you want. Of course it is a Tap ability so you have to time it right.
But the cards don't explicitly say it has to be the vehicle Wedge is piloting. Wedge's card says, "when YOU pivot", and harpoon says, "perform a pivot with that vehicle". You are performing the pivot of the target. Doesn't Wedge apply to all your pivots in that activation?
You only need terrain to make playing at home more awesome. Do you have a FLGS near you to play at? They usually have terrain available to use when playing there.
The cost of entry for Legion compared to some other games of this type is actually pretty low. In addition, terrain can be pretty cheap. You get 8 (?) barricades with the core set, but you can also use other objects as terrain. Stacks of books, game boxes, coke bottles, and so on can all be used to add some cover. You can use shapes cut out of paper or cardboard to represent different types of terrain. It won't be pretty, but it'll work to play the game. Generally the desire to hobby will follow, once you find a game that you like. In addition, if you don't like to paint minis, you can get a friend to do it, do some simple painting on your own (primer coat, and maybe some another color or two), or just leave them unpainted. Don't listen to anyone who disparages a player that doesn't want to paint their minis.
Another great video Crabbok , thank you. The choice of models/expansions coming out with the core set is puzzling: Speeder Bikes and AT-ST: Endor Snow speeders and Snow troopers : Hoth AT-RT .....Kashyyyk? (but no Wookie?) Tatooine playmats but no Banthas or Sand people ? I suppose that by sticking to a single location the game would be extremely unbalanced. However it does beg the question: how are FFG going to handle future expansions? For the moment, I'm just going with a single core set .(I wonder how long I can stick to that resolution!)
I noticed that there were very random choices for expansions/locales too- my guess is because they were trying to hit all of the "nostalgia" factors first to get people interested. Like we have rebel fleet/ship troopers and then an Endor Leia? Snow troopers, AT-ST, General Veers, snow speeder, and then Endor rebels? (could be painted as Hoth rebels but not marketed as such). Still all very cool and promising! I ordered the core set, will probably pick up an AT-ST after all that's painted and wait for the next wave to be announced before buying more.
I'm so glad they changed it to a clear stand. I remember it being gray in early photos
I bought in tonight! Went with the boxed set, a box of each troop choice and an extra AT-RT!
That is such a beautiful sculpt...

I just picked one up today...I couldn't resist.
Just ordered my core set can’t wait to build rest of my army 👌🏽
Can't wait to get this. And I really, really do want the x-wing ground game because I want to maneuver AT-ATs around the table and crush stuff!
Just brought this with the main set and I'm thinking of painting my t-47 in desert colors
You'll have to make a video showing off all the paint jobs on your figures. Looking forward to seeing how you do the snowspeeder's paint as it has so much promise.
Legion seems interesting to play. The fact you have to put together/paint the minis yourself is the only thing keeping me from playing it
But painting them is the best part!
Looking forward to your tactics video for this piece!
"No atmospheric craft in X-wing!" And yet we have the Tie Striker...
Hopekuma The tie striker is space capable, it just sucks. lol
Standard Tie pilot & Striker pilot hate each other. lol
I know, I was just being silly. I only even used the Striker because almost all of it's Bios start something like "This craft designed primarily for atmospheric flight..." Hehe ;)
So excited to get my copies tomorrow!!!!
Can't wait to get my hands on all the heroes a.k.a. the Empire.
Do you think they'll add giant land vehicles like an AT-AT? Or some space capable fighters like X-Wings or Tie Fighters?
Can't wait. Mine won't be here til Tuesday though...
That’s really detailed
nice video! love your x-wing videos, so this is a welcome addition
It's here!
I just wanna say you put the Speeders' blasters on upside down. The Little nodule thing on the end is supposed to be on the bottom. I hope you haven't glued them on yet.
You are putting the front guns on upside down! (The flat part at the end hangs down, not up.)
I may get one just so I can make a downed speeder terrain piece.
So want to get this expansion
Is there a way I can purchase the models pre painted and already put together?
A used collection on Ebay
@@Crabbok would you recommend it? Or do you think I should just do it myself?

@@Crabbok Ok thanks! Also one more thing. Could I just get some sand and rocks from my yard, put it on a table and call it the board for this game?
Are you planning on doing a painting video?
yup
make sure to show us the painted stuff when you are done
Not sure it I want to add this. Is it worth having it?
Out of the 2 heavy units in the game, I like it the best. It may not look as cool as the AT-ST, but I think it plays MUCH better.
Crabbok thanks for the info.will have to rethink this.

Man that mini looks awesome. I will have to save money for all my gaming addictions. Plus I just got into armada and in want all the ships lol

Storeing this and the AT-ST is going to be a pain
Cannons upside down ?
Yeah I figured it out afterward - the hype had me blinded.
Is one of thee enough for competitive play? Having a hard time justifying two. Anybody see any list with two of these in an 800 point army?
These unboxing videos are making me want to play legion but the entry cost plus the need to paint and build terrain kinda scare me
Tim Koglin I feel the same!
I’m totally in the same boat!!!!

The snow speaker convinced me to play rebels.
#imperialdefector
Traitor!
I plan on playing as rebels more than Empire
Great video! Cant wait to get my stuff!
For what it is, i preffer an old gallob snowspeeder.
I like the inserts from the legion boxes. They seem to be much better than the ones for Armada
looks a bit too small
How could Darth Vader take that puppy down?
