  • This is a simulation of an in-hospital pediatric (intensive care) resuscitation with a 5-member team. This demonstrates the benefits of high-quality CPR, CPR quality monitoring, and the "pit crew" approach.

    Lol I guess letting the head of the bed slam down is a handy way to double check for responsiveness. Really enjoyed watching such a great team!

    imagin doing this in the back of an ambulance with just your driver as another provider .

      As an emt student I can imagine and the mother freaking out is about the second worst part of it all…truly a heartbreaking cry

    So the airway main goal is to provide a patent airway or to prevent the patient from imminent vomiting?

      Both.

      Or to prevent it from collapsing/closing.

      both. ETT gets us direct access to the upper airways of the lungs so all our pressure/O2 gets to the lungs without the risk of dilating the stomach and causing vomiting
