- Dunkin's NEW PUMPKIN SPICE MENU IS BACK! And they've added some delish fall items as well!
I am literally about to get dressed to go taste test all of Starbucks' NEW Pumpkin Drinks, but before I did that I thought you might want to see what Dunkin Donuts is offering in their fall/pumpkin spice lineup this year. Last pumpkin season feels like a lifetime ago, but I think a couple of these are similar to last years offering but the new Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte are a MUST if you're close to a Dunkin.
Also to note, if you have a favorite at Dunkin' already you can ask to add their Pumpkin syrup to any drink on the menu...unless of course your location is out of pumpkin HA! Also, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the pumpkin/apple snacks like the pumpkin donut, pumpkin muffin and and the pumpkin MUNCHKINS® Donut Hole Treats. My verdict is still out if I am into the cake donut's of it all.

Apple cider donuts don't taste very appley. They're a staple of cider mills, and they're soft and cakey and taste like cinnamon, and often served warm. By the dozen. It's not fall in Michigan without them.

I think Dunkin could have had better timing. It's hard to imagine pumpkin stuff when it's 95 degrees.
I think they're out here competing with Sbux who always launches their pumpkin flavors this week!
The apple doughnut you're looking for is called an Apple Fritter. It was created in Auburn, NY at Cameron's bakery. They are a yeast doughnut (the lighter ones, not the cake kind), with the dough being a bit richer and less firm. The original was fried and topped with a standard glaze, and had a mixture of had apple pie filling and something similar to dry cinnamon roll filling inside of it.
There are tons of variations now, many of which have NO APPLE in them at all, and that just ain't right!! The best ones have pockets of diced apples with just enough of the pie goo that you get with canned pie filling and are folded back on itself multiple times, creating multiple little books and crannies for the cinnamon filling and the finishing glaze to settle into. 🤤
A slightly warm apple fritter with a mug of hot coffee/cider/tea is a classic Central New York favorite, year round. Excuse me while I go pine over the memory of the wonderous pastries. 😭
This place in the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge, TN area (the Smokies) called The Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant serves apple fritters with every meal. They come warm in a basket with apple butter and OMG. Best thing you'll ever put in your mouth!

I think cider donuts are really a Michigan thing. People from other states are alway baffled but when they try a Michigan cider donut..mind blown
In northern Indiana we have an Amish bakery that makes AMAZING caramel cinnamon donuts, they literally melt in your mouth, you should totally travel here for some! Rise n Roll if you’re ever interested in traveling!!

Haven’t finished watching but girl…I was there last Wednesday when it opened and got the Apple Refresher….😵💫😵💫😵💫 sooooooooo sweet!! Like drinking a bath and body works candle!! Love them both but I had to cut it with seltzer water when I got home 😂😂😂

All Dunkin are not the same lol. I get the same thing everytime and they all make it different. Even though it's the same Frozen Coffee everytime. One could have more mocha or the coffee is fresher ect.. But they never taste like the one I may have gotten 2days ago. I love Dunkin and there xtra xtra creamer is so good. One Love ✌🏼❤🧡💛💚💙💜🖤

apple cider donuts are never glazed, nor do they ever have chunks of apple in them. they're supposed to be a more subtle flavor with a coating of cinnamon sugar.

I never comment on videos. Like really really do not comment. But I randomly clicked on this because I was interested, and I want to say I am really disappointed. To start the video talking about homeless encampments going up in flames and ending it by asking for money so you can eat the entire cheesecake factory menu is appalling. Perhaps I am missing something, or you talked about it in another video...but please do better.
Video idea: Trying all of the boxed mac and cheeses (I saw that Cheeto came out with 3 flavors too!)

Erin, we gotta get you to visit upstate NY! Apple cider donuts are a thing here that the apple orchards make. It used to be just the fall, but most of them are open year round now and make them fresh and warm daily. I don't think there's any apple in it, just fall spices. You're just supposed to have them with cider.
Technical UA-cam question for you: when you release 2 videos in a day, do you notice one hurt the performance of the other?

I used to work at DD... and the muffins run out fast. We only made a certain amount a day and I never get to have one unless I work opening shift. Then when I became manager, I made extras haha.

I’m from New England, which if you’ve never heard, “New England runs on Dunkins” 😂 I agree, I don’t care for the pumpkin donut, but the pumpkin munchkin, while it’s the same thing, just smaller, it’s ways better because of the donut to glaze ratio and the smaller size gives you a better amount of the crusted outside rather than the dense middle. The apple cider donut is just okay, it’s not comparable to our local apple orchard’s cider donuts, but it’s enough to curb the craving until you can get to our apple farms 😂

I gotta disagree with you on the apple cider donut. I can't stand Apple chunks and im glad they left them out. I think it has tons of flavor and isn't sickly sweet or candle tasting like a lot of apple flavors are 😋
I actually empathize with this perspective. I do think a homemade version of that would be delish, but I do doubt that a fast food spot wouldn't really nail the apple chunks they way they should!

LOL 'most black coffee tastes like a cigarette ashtray'. I feel you on that but I do enjoy the taste and dunking the coffee with something sweet like the pumpkin donuts = delicious! Yea, I'm not a huge sugar/sweet person. Hush puppy? I heard and seen them but never had! Looks good... anything deep fried is good hehe. The "cake" donuts you aren't especially fond of are usually referred to as "old-fashioned" or traditional, haha, they're basically the donuts my mom makes around christmas time (though I admit, "store bought" ones aren't the best...! Tim Hortons in Canada makes a great spiced trad donut around Christmas though! The recipe has to be right.). The more "fluffy" ones are yeast donuts, usually your glazed donuts and the ones with filling, are yeast donuts, like the basic Krispy Kreme donut. They barely taste like anything if not glazed, unlike the traditional ones where the flavor is really baked in, if that makes sense. Yeast donuts are blank slates to be flavored and decorated. And then you have the specialty donuts like the French Crullers, commonly known as a "tractor wheel", that's an egg-based recipe and is even fluffier than your usual yeast donut, with a crispier exterior. If you can get them unglazed, it tastes really egg-y! I had those all the time when I worked at Tim Hortons.. lol Probably a special order though... I wonder what's the difference with fritters though. Love a good apple fritter in the fall!

@@ErinRobinson I legit have no merit, I just worked as a baker at Tim Hortons in my youth... LMAO! It's just written on the boxes... all we really did was re-heat pre-cooked frozen donuts (since 2002-ish), the ones that just had honey glaze we'd dump a bucket of water and powdered sugar on it, voilà, the great recipe.. xD I loved the machine that we used to fill donuts though, it was this big jar of whatever filling we needed, that clicked into a base with two beaks and some sort of "space bar" (like on your computer keyboard? xD) we'd push to get the filling to jet out. Nice and quick and satisfying AF! 😂 We used two settings, one for donut holes, and one for the regular boston cream or jelly yeast donuts.When you forgot to set it to donut hole, and tried to fill these tiny donuts with a full donut's worth of filling, it basically exploded in your hands... 😂 Very surprising the first time it happens, but super funny, and a GREAT way to haze the new employees nicely... as canadians do, hahaha.
