Not to mention the fabulous competition. Great competitors make for great competition, aka Jimmy Spithill. As a true-blue died in the wool Kiwi lad, it's no shame to be beaten by a better competitor, but beware, we're fast learners ;o)

That's ETNZ's hydraulic system. The grinders provide power to the system in lieu of motors and that pressure is used to control the boat (ie adjust the foil arms) It is currently unknown why LRPP's system is much quieter
NZ boss - De Norra felt the AC75 boat had “great development potential”. The radical foiling monohull has been confirmed as the boat for the next two editions of the America’s Cup.
@@mtl-ss1538 Thank you for the reply. I know next to nothing about sailing, let alone the Americas Cup but I just stumbled across the Prada Cup that was ongoing and was instantly hooked...The AC75 is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen ! Guess I’m a fan now ... lots to learn ......like , I want to be sailing a Moth in 2 years 😎
@@locominyana8916 As long as you ignore Jimmy Spittal and Sir Ben. You won the AC, deservedly so, but there's more to sailing than just the AC. Olympics have NZ 1 gold ahead of Australia, though 1 behind in total, though 30 behind the Brits, (13 gold) and 42 behind the US (12 gold) says you're not even close to best in the world. It was great to see NZ win, let's just not let facts spoil a good story.
err only one Aussie on the Italian boat, You know where Glen Ashby's from? being a sore loser is one thing but being a sore winner is shameful.. oh the end.
lol these boats are at least 10 knots faster than the cats in the same winds, and you can have proper tacking duels, the cats are boring drag racers, just a shame there where to many low wind days
Oh what has happened to sailing is this what it has resorted to. Years ago we had hover craft this is the same. Sailing skills are 2 men and the rest are the best found at a local gym. They could be replaced by running a Honda Generator for power. The nature of the course a large footie field so sterile no space for an adventure tack. A cource up and down where has a wing mark gone with a traveller car only moving 5inches what you expect A to B laps so boring win the start and win Impressive 50k but it soon wears off.The boats are so stable a glass of water wont spill.Technology has killed yachting like F1 Is dead all so artificial.
can we please have these released in 4K?
Fabulous Victory. Fabulous Team. Fabulous Design and Builders.

なんだかんだ言って、モノハル時代が好き
見た目はモノハルなんだけど、水中翼船に近い感じ
👏👏👏
It is all fixed. Jimmy Spithill always captains the losing boat.
Also are like 90% of these team members on both teams New Zealanders?
An awful lot of Aussies also
@@Downunder12 There is always a downside!
no, not these days anyway... No kiwis on Luna Rossa, just Jimmy, an Aussie.
Rest where mostly it if not all italian.
@@swanny8869 But the kiwis, man for man, woukd boast the most success & quality on the water.

Blink and you'll miss it - oh you did 😂😂😂😂
Was referring to the first time seeing it in full race mode
What happened was the KIWIS won and the italians (err aussies) sucked, the end.
Where's your main sail trimmer from? While the helmsmen is no1, if your trimmer is no good you don't make the speed UnZud generated. Just saying...
