Great video. I like the presentation. Good work. I will be visiting Amber Cove for the first time in December. After watch your video, I think I am better prepared and looking for to the visit. THANKS!
We were at Amber Cove on Rotterdam, 10 day cruise, in January. Only ship there, maybe 40 people at the pool. No kids. It was like paradise! Sky bar is great with two for one drink specials.
Was there last week. Had a blast.we did all-inclusive beach get away. Awesome time for about an hour or so we had the beach to ourselves. Soooo relaxing
We had Dinner at Rudi's too....we were just a couple days off from your cruise. I order fish (can't remember which kind) but the Waiter deboned it right at the table. I was in AWE! I was scrumptious!!
Reaĺly nice series of video's from this cruise, enjoyed them all and really liked the ports. Thanks for the great info on everything. Thanks and take care. Cheers!!
We were at Amber Cove in February on Freedom & Mardi Gras was there also there Very Crowded! We stopped at the Chocolate shop & bought 2 bars as a gift for my husband cousin. She just raved about the chocolate bars.
Love the pool-side cabanas. Loungers, hammock, pool floats, misters, AC, snacks and drinks and waiter service for the restaurant. My (older) kids can enjoy the slides and zip lines and pool while we relax.
The bungalows are great. Service is always good with the Amber Cove staff and a lot of included stuff when you get one, like the Zip line. If the water was clear, as the water at the bungalows is a little murky, the experience would be a 10/10. Oh, and have good upper body strength as the ladders to climb out the water there requires such. Definitely worth a try as a splurge for the price.
I don't think you could convince me more to book a ship. This whole trip is right up my alley. I'm not so much a Caribbean person but I have actually wanted to do the ABCs. This looks perfect. It's just bucket list at the moment though! Chris with the escargot made me think of my dad with the calamari. When Chris says "That's snails for you unrefined folks." The first time my dad had my mom make calamari for us I was about four or five. My mom, being smart, didn't want to say what it was in order to get us to try it. She thought if it had a fancy sounding name we'd go for it. But my dad, in his big blustering Greek accent spelled it on out of us. "Eetsa a sqeeeeed." Me: "It's what?" Him: "Squeeeed!" Now I knew what a squid looked like and I was not eating that! And by the way it wasn't the calamari rings, mom had fixed squid steaks. Still won't touch the stuff. What kind of Greek am I? LOL
The over the water cabanas are amazing (my profile pic is the view of the carnival magic from the far end one). The server is very attentive and overall a nice relaxing day away from the busy pool area. The only downside was the ladder is hard to use to get out of the water.
Ok, one reason I love watching the videos is how you show all the food, but I would never try Lobster except you said it was smoked! and that sounds divine! lol...I would love to go on a group trip!!!! with yall next year!!! do you have it on your website? how do we know when you are doing them? Much love from Texas! BTW! my sisters went to NSU! and boy we love some Louisiana! (I grew up in E. Texas soooo...kind of neighbors )
Growing up I don't remember seeing anyone guessing that in the future, we would be watching other people eat and not being forced to do it as torture🤣🤣🤣
I don't know how you guys do it with the food. I'd weigh 300 lbs traveling as much as you. I LOVE food so damn. I'm 59 now so the meno just packs on the pounds. Looked so good!
I love Amber Cove. It's a nice way to spend the day when you don't feel like taking a shore excursion outside the port. Recently JJ Cruise and Jay from the Shiplife both did the cheapest cabin on the cheapest cruise they could find. You should try it and let us know if having the cheapest cabin on the cheapest ship and spending as little money as possible makes your cruise less enjoyable.
It’s interesting that I’m sailing on Norwegian and they recently changed the itinerary to stop and Amber Cove. Maybe it’s not the same one but I guess I’ll find out soon enough!
Aw, the family you met - they're so cute!
I was also immediately hungry when that huge Caribbean lobster came out. Rudy's looks fantastic!

You guys are so cute. I loved how you were so excited about that bread. I can be in the worse mood, and your vlogs just brighten my day! ❤️
We have been there many times we go to the pool first then look at the shops I love this port it’s almost a free day
Will be there in a couple of weeks so it's nice to see what to expect. I'm so excited.
I love Amber Cove. Thanks for sharing. I miss seeing the boys...
I buy a Christmas ornament every where we go, and yes I made a list so I would not duplicate.
Cruising also on NCL docking at Amber Cove in 4 weeks on the Getaway.

I loved Amber Cove and it where I did most of my shopping. It is where I found a statue of a Iguana made of wood.
Was there last week. Had a blast.we did all-inclusive beach get away. Awesome time for about an hour or so we had the beach to ourselves. Soooo relaxing
Which beach did you go?
@Kiki Caleña I believe it was the LA CASA EN LA PLAYA all-inclusive 4 or 5 hr beach day.

Would love to try this destination one day on carnival! beautiful video!
You all do give the best ship tours!
Looks like an enjoyable port
You guys do food reviews like nobody else!

how much were the cabanas?
@@tgrady3542the smaller one is $300-400. But it isn't per person. So really not a bad deal if you have a few people. Totally worth it!

We are going in June on celebration.
Growing up I don't remember seeing anyone guessing that in the future, we would be watching other people eat and not being forced to do it as torture🤣🤣🤣
Wow those potions of food OMG far too much for me. But looked tasty 😋 .
What a lovely place to visit 💕
7:03 cowboy partying hard!
Love it! ❤
Omg I was on the Mari Gras at that time

That looks like a really nice cruise port.
I love that meal

I have thought about that. We are getting into summer so rates are about to go way up but we could definitely do this in the fall.
@@EECCTravels I hope you are able to do it. I'll keep my fingers crossed!
Hi can excursions be purchased at those booth ? Or directly through carnival
I am not sure. I know you can prebook excursions with Carnival online and in the ship.
The short hair looks so great on you!
What ship are you on? I didn’t catch it when it was mentioned.
Rotterdam
Is there any extra cost for going to the pool? This will be my first trip to Amber Cove
Love the video,l
Love 💕 amber cove
Can you tell me what is the cost of the zipline and water slides. Thank you
It’s interesting that I’m sailing on Norwegian and they recently changed the itinerary to stop and Amber Cove. Maybe it’s not the same one but I guess I’ll find out soon enough!
I think it will be the same one. I heard on another video that other cruise lines do stop at this port.
Great video
On this island and you pay with credit card or cash ?
You can use cash or card.
Nice hat
Norwegian Cruise lines are docking there too. I'd prefer to see the actual island instead of a cruise made area. Nice you had fun though.
I’ve never been to Amber Cove
One port I've adamantly avoided. I don't like going to ports without a nice beach and nothing but a huge pool.
Our cruise this dec only ship there so shouldnt be crowded
That did not look good at all but then again I am a real picky eater.
Long story short, everything is free on port
Using a Dremel seems like cheating to me
