Absolutely brilliant mate! Fantastic little car you’ve built absolute credit to you
A fantastic video, thank you sharing. It looked like such a great event and you pair are like an old married couple finishing off each others sentences ❤ looking forward to your next adventure
Great video, always good to see everyone else’s journeys!
Nice to meet you too, see you at the next one!
Thanks Kieran. It was nice to meet you too having watched a lot of your content. I’ll be back as soon as I can be. Prepping is underway for next year
@@Thecarislife I’m planning on dragging the Fiesta out next year too, the events definitely given me some motivation to get it back out!
Awesome very well done👏 hopefully we’ll be entering next year looks like a lot of fun,
Love it.. me n my buddy should be doing it next year both in minis, what reservoirs you running on yours? With standard mini pedal box?
That will be awesome with more minis. I’ve got some after market master cylinders mounted inside the car with remote reservoirs. I’m planning to change the setup slightly over winter by changing the lower dash rail
@@Thecarislife yeah man. Awaiting the registration to open.. do you know when? And how much was it last year few hundred quid werent it? my buddy's is a 1293 500kg light-weight racer that was featured in mini mag. Mines a 1293 turbo also 500kg but it is far off being put back together! I'll have to have a ganders at your pedal set up as I've moved the wiper motor and the wiring all inside the bulkhead and it's all smoothed off so is only reservoirs that's left... is there any clips of your setup in your videos?
@D4VE26 I don’t know if I did much of a video on it. I will do in the future. I was in a bit of a rush doing it at the beginning of show season last year. They sound like fast minis.
I think entry opens in December. It was £275 last year.
Looked awesome mate! Well done fore getting 15.99! 🥳 Definitely need to do Santa Pod next year as the last time i did it was 2018 in Bolt, fastest time was 16.03s with speed of 83.97. That was with 1380cc and SW10cam and 120hp. Bolt now has SW23 cam and 129hp so i'd like to think i could get into the 15s 😅😎
15.99s fast bud, my octavia vrs did a best of 15.4 and i had many passes under my belt from the mustang days so for your first time thats incredible, #completingiswinning 🎉🎉, my pb is 13.99 so welcome to the 99 club
Thanks Ken. The problem I have now is i can’t stop looking at con rods, turbos and nitrous kits. I should really look at some slicks for my next mod
@@Thecarislife the addiction is real, tyres would be good as a first mod, I know your limited on suspension, is it still on mini stuff? Aw another mod to help that wheel hope is if you used the vauxhall mount for the front middle mount fill it with polyurethane to stiff it up, the less engine rock the more solid ya shifts
It’s on mini suspension. Look at some of the photos I got and video I can certainly stiffen up my shocks (gaz adjustable) and raise the height in the rear. I haven’t used any of the original mounts. I’ve used some landrover style hockey puck type. I might look for poly ones before I get some aluminium blocks to replace them😂. So much has gone through my mind since the weekend lol
@@Thecarislife it's does help I had poly on my vrs and my 2 zafiras, infact my insignia needs new mounts as the engines all over the place but at 205 miles il let off
Alex call yourself what you like mate camera man, minion 😂 it's official title was pit b1tch, well done fellas looks a great event hopefully it keeps on going
"promosm" 😳
Adam, Alex, Great to see you had a cracking weekend and made it home 🤣😂 I know you were both looking forward to it as we talked about on the event on WhatsApp.
It‘s always better when you have a wingman and Martyn Reed is my pit crew at Red Bull Ring in September in the Ventilspiel Classic. Cheers Dave
Thanks Dave. It was such a good weekend
