I'm curious why you mention your frustration with a few of the passive critiques of that "particular cultural form of Christianity," when you follow up with a shared critique of those distorted forms of Christianity as well? I found myself, a Christian, more frustrated with those same distorted forms of the religion than with Wall Kimmerer's passages. All the best.
This review starts out good but completely lost me at the Christianity part and saying she didn’t compare western science well enough to native wisdom. Like of course western science is problematic with its flawed theory’s and is why it constantly has to change and grow to new knowledge bc obviously there’s some serious flaws. Also Christianity itself it super flawed! It’s behind a lot of the worlds issues
I wonder if you have had a chance to look at Wendell Berry's work. If so do let us know your impressions of how someone can view nature differently from within a Christian perspective.
