Back in 90', I had heard this tune. That year, I ended up in a wheelchair for a few months with not much to do. I got a bunch of Slovenian sheet music from a gal whose husband was Slovenian. I thumbed through the music and landed on this piece. I had not read any music since the mid 70's. But, I got that piece down and did enjoy playing it for years. I never was much for playing in A and E, since I love the flats. So, it was good brain teasing for me. Your playing is perfect and of course your box sounds nice and crisp. Great playing and great instrument. Ps. my dad accompanied me with his guitar now and then. He played in a band in 1940 before getting drafted. Pss. It appears that you are the GO-TO Slovenian/Austrian accordionist of Aussie Land!
Avseniks solos in E,A,D are wonderful brain teasers and exercises for the fingers. Check out Pri Sosedovih Na Obisku (Lustige nachbar). On first glance of your comment I thought you were going to say that you ended up in a wheelchair after attempting to learn this song - so I'm glad that wasn't the case!
