We plan to go here in April end now. Do u get those boots for hire or do we have to buy ? How difficult is the trek here ?

You can get boots for rent.
They might ask for 200 for one pair but you can bargain for 100 or 150.
Trek is simple but better to take pony and go for phase 2 to see glacier, it will be worth
