Funny thing this. My mom always told me I was the most well behaved infant / kid she ever saw in her life. Hardly ever cried or touched stuff I was not supposed to or gave her a hard time not eating or throwing tantrums. But I did turn out to be quite a rebel during my teens, making my mom to firmly believe that it was just the testosterone and not me 😂.

I wonder if that is compensation for being a wonderful baby. I know I question mine. My daughter loved to sleep and was so happy after 3 months when she was colicky - it was a God sent when she slept throughout the night and we were able to have them join our bed after 6:00am.

As a mom I give any new mom or parent mad respect! They never tell you how burnt out you truly get in the beginning. Expeically after having a c-section. But at the end of the day a smile like that makes you forget for a moment. So glad dad ( I assume) was able to capture a rare moment of the cutiest smile ever! May God continue to protect and bless this family!

My son used to wake up at 5 am and made it VERY clear that he expected to be fed and entertained RIGHT NOW. There were days when the only thing that kept me going was imagining how he's sleep till noon when he's be a teenager. Guess what, it worked :)

Mine is 13, and still wakes up at 5 am. He’s mostly always been such a good boy and leaves me alone until I wake up. He is my heart!
My son woke up every hour on the dot for feeding til he turned 1 year old. It was very exhausting indeed. He’s 19 now and the love of my life!
