    I'm on week 4 currently and I kinda adjusted the morning pages to suit my lifestyle. I set a timer for 15 to 30 minutes depending on time available and write as much possible on A4 size note book. Sometimes it's one page or a page an half. On days when I have the luxury of time I can go upto 3 pages or more if need be. And also I don't write them upon rising. I write at mid morning or lunch or night before going to sleep. What matters most is that the pages help you reflect and redirect.

    Thank you so much for this. I related to so much of what you said. I am definitely stealing your idea of going to my childhood public library for my artist's date! I need to rediscover what it means to let my mind play. I miss that being in the moment that my childhood years held. ❤

    This video really resonated with me. Seeing others going through similar situations gives me strength, knowing I'm not alone. Anxiety has been a struggle for me, especially after the pandemic, making it harder to venture out. I hope to work on this and bring about some positive change. I've always been the kind of person who doesn't want to burden others, so I tend to handle things solo. Listening to your insights has been healing, to say the least. Thank you for sharing.

      I'm so glad this video resonates. Take it one day at a time! I first started going out to the places I used to frequent before the pandemic because it gave me a sense of comfort and safety. Then I slowly started going to new places.
      I totally get it, I still have a hard time asking for help when it comes to certain things and I get all in my head about it. One thing I have to constantly tell myself is that the people I surround myself with (most especially my family) love me and are willing to help in any way they can.
      Thank you for sharing your experience 💜Have a great week!

    My morning pages journey is very similar to yours. Large composition pages that were too cumbersome to complete, and then I downsized and it works great. Interestingly, I too started having vivid, rememberable dreams.

    I did the artist's way last year. Three weeks ago I started again with the artist dates (I don't know why I stopped). I am an introvert too. I was given a colouring book by number and I love to do it on my artist date. I don't think you always have to go out of the house. At the moment I am reading brain over binge, next I want to reread the artist's way. I still write my morning pages. I have a big notebook and write one page. I feel that is enough for me, for most of the time. If I need more then I write more, but I don't push myself to do the 3 pages. Thank you for sharing your journey! ❤

      At first, it sounded like artist dates are only outdoor activities which is what made me more hesitant, but when I saw that people were doing the course during lock down, I realized that wasn't the case. So, I did end up doing a good balance of indoor and outdoor artist dates :) I like that you're not strict with your morning pages. I actually did that a couple of years ago with my Hobonichi. It's already fixed with dated pages so that worked well for me. I might do that again next time. Thank you for sharing your experience! ✨❤

    I’m going to start this journey soon. The 3 pages - does it mean 3 papers (both sides) or 1.5 papers (3 sides)? I’ve always been confused about that ever since I heard of the morning pages.

    • @CharVillena
      @CharVillena  8 місяців тому +1

      When I do Morning Pages, I fill up each page of the notebook (front and back). So three pages = (1 full page front and back and then half of another page). Hope that helps!
