Thanks for making it. what would you recommend 70mai A200 or 70mai M200 based on overall performance including night time number plate reading? Thanks in advance !
Hello sir, can you suggest a good dual dashcam with num plate readability both day & night, also with decent app. And whats your opinion on buying bit expensive VAIFO A229 PLUS?
VIOFO A229 Plus is the best option if you want to have good number plate readability at night from both front and rear cameras. You can go ahead with it, it's worth it.
I was eagerly waiting for this video since you made a video about this last time. Brother, could you please make a video about parking surveillance wiring installation. I have to buy it plz make a dedicated video brother. I will be very thankful to you.
Thank you for the review, bought NexDigitron A3 Pro post viewing all your detailed reviews. Can you please compare this with NexDigitron A3 Pro if possible..
No. You cannot replace A810's rear camera or any other dual camera for that matter and add this. What you can do is to use this as a separate rear camera without connecting it to the main front cam.
Well if it's possible to stretch your budget upto 20K, then getting the 70mai A810 will be the right choice. It's the current best dashcam available under that price range. If 15K is max, I recommend you wait for sometime as newer and better cameras will be launched in the upcoming days which are greatly improved over existing cameras.
@@traveltechyoutubeIn the product page it says this: Emergency Recording Small body, endless space. When your memory card reaches full capacity, new footage will automatically overwrite* older footage to ensure uninterrupted recording. *Emergency videos will be locked in the event folder to prevent an overwrite. *Enabled by the 70mai hardwire kit, sold separately. Does that mean in order to have loop recording I have to use the hardwire kit. I do not want to use anything other than plug and play that might render my car’s warranty void. Please advise
Technically yes. But 70mai hasn't officially released OBD kit for their dashcams yet. Get in touch with Nexdigitron in their WhatsApp number, they will help you out regarding it
Can I install 2 Front Dashcamso - one on the front windscreen (example A510 Front unit) and one on the rear (example M200), each powered independently. (1) What are the advantages and disadvantages of such a set-up. (2) Can the 70mai App connecting to more than one Dashcam? (3) From where does the camera pick up the time stamp? Can the time stamp and GPS stamp be matched in both cameras?
Advantages: Rear camera gets quality bump given you much better footage when compared to using company(most) provided rear camera. In case of VIOFO A229 series, this won't be required as the rear camera is on par with front. Disadvantages: "EXTRA WORK" *Two separate power ports *Two separate memory cards *Cannot access both dashcams simultaneously. *When required, need to remove 2 memory cards and transfer files. *Also, extra time and effort to sync front videos to the rear 2. Yes 70mai app can add more than one dashcam, but cannot access both simultaneously. 3. Camera records time stamp after syncing time with smartphones. GPS data is obtained via inbuilt GPS reciever in the Dashcam.
@@traveltechyoutube I intend to install front and back dashcams in the Jimny. It has a 12V socket in the boot which can be used to power the rear dashcam. This would save me of the typical cable routing from front to rear since the Jimny boot door opens to the side. You would understand how cable routing in side boot door SUVs is done. Other than the VioFo A229, no other model provides Sony Starvis sensor in both front and back camera. With 70mai A510 Front and 70mai M200 combination with separate SD cards and independent power supply will cost Rs 10,000 + Rs 5,000 + SD cards. Max Rs 16,000. VioFo A229 costs Rs 25,000-26,000. 70mai A810 does not provide an option of buying only Front dashcam or else that could also be considered.
Yes you can use for front and rear. Yes you can see both in app, but not simultaneously. You can only connect one camera at a time to the app. So front and back you can see separately in the same app
Hi.. Since it doesn't have back camera.. Can we place 70mai M200 in back side as well?? Will it full fill the requirement for back dashcam? Pls. Confirm.. Thanks..
@@traveltechyoutube-Thanks again.. I have 12vDC socket available in the luggage section in the back side of the vehicle.. Or should I buy VIOFO A229 Plus..? Pls. Confirm.
M200 is under 5K camera. VIOFO A229 Plus comes at nearly 25-30K. If you already have a budget for that, why are you even considering M200? Go with A229 Plus!
@@traveltechyoutube - I now see VIOFO A229 is of shortage & is not available on Amazon.. Hi, I want to install 2 separate front and rear dash cams for my Ecosport (it has 12v port in backseat). The reason being within 9k I will get 2 good camera. Front - 70mai M200 and for rear something budget in the range of 4k. Just wanted to know if such separate setups are fine or anything I need to know about?
Yes. Such separate setups are totally fine. But it will take more work. Separate installation and power port connection(which you specified is available), separate app connection, meaning you can only connect to one cam at a time with the same app, and two separate MicroSD cards. Remember these aspects and go ahead.
can you compare A200 & M200? I think the HDR capability of the a200 is much better compared with the m200 Starvis 2 camera. The m200 looks dark at nigh time.
M300 has 1296 full HD+ option and pricing is also similar. If i compare in terms of clarity is M300 superior than M200? Starvis will give more clarity during night i guess
Starvis will give better number plate readability. Rest everything is more or less the same. Also, the overall video quality will be brighter in M300 compared to M200.
Same goes for all 1080p or 1296p cameras without Starvis 2 sensor. If getting decent number plate readability at night is a priority then look no further than M200. If not, you have a lot of options like Mini Pro or A3 Pro etc
@@traveltechyoutube thanks for your responses. So the only way is to use a different phone for carplay and a different phone for live recording on the dashcam.. right??
Well, let me rephrase. The dashcam records video irrespective of its connection to your smartphone. As long as the dashcam is turned on and has a compatible sdcard inside it, it always records videos. Connecting smartphone to dashcam is only done if needed to change any settings (for non display dashcams). Otherwise, in practical terms, you never need to connect your smartphone to the dashcam ever. If you need to view/check recorded videos, you can always remove the sdcard and insert it into your pc/laptop to access all the recorded videos.
Is it expected that price of dashcams will decrease...or will it increase
