Actually brother, some Sufi pays more respect to Hazrat Ali than others Sahaba. Due to this reason, some sunni ulema take this by definition. He is also a very good scholar of ahlesunnat .
Paying respect and denying respect are two different things Qadris pay more respect to Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jeelani it doesn't mean they don't pay respect to others Auliya and same with Imam E Azam when it comes to Ahnaaf If any so called sufi has doubt in afzaliyat of Abu Bakar O Umar And Usman over Hazrat Ali especially Shaykhain(Abu Bakar o Umar)then that person is out of fold of Ahlus Sunnah and there is no Sufism outside Ahlus Sunnah only deviancy and deviant sects they have become part of mainly rawafidh Mureeds of Khwaja Ajmer or Bahauddin Naqshband take name and do zikr of Khwaja and Bahauddin more than rest of Auliya it doesn't mean they believe they are superior to Gous e Aazam or they think other Auliya regardless of their stature are not worthy of respect maaz Allah is just tohmat and waham of person and fault of his own aqal,same way out of 4 major silsilas of sufi tareeqa 3 have direct chain to Moula Ali thus you see them do Ali Ali more Naara e Tahqeeq Haq Chaar Yaar Ridwanullahi Ta'ala Alaihim Ajma'een wa Rahimahullah Ta'ala Alaihim Ajma'een
