My name is Duncan and welcome to my channel. My passion is camping and 4WDriving. I purchased a new MY21 Dmax X-Terrain and I enjoy the freedom of solo travel and exploring this wonderful country we call Australia.
In this video I walk you thru my brand new custom canopy , the features and reasons why I decided to fit a canopy to my Dmax. In part 2 I will fit the canopy out with accessories and mods which will set me up for for solo travels.

We have a Norweld Full time canopy on our Grey 2022 Dmax Spacecab the canopy is matching the cab. with Bushcompany AX27 RTT and 270 Max.

Big change from your tub load out. It's often I see most tub 4x4 load outs tend to go to what you have done. I myself have a tub loadout out and im thinking about changing, is it worth the money? especially after flogging out for the original design . looks trick, though 👌

Thanks for your comment 🤙 time will tell if it’s all worth it. My initial thought is yes, more convenient storage and no need to pull everything out when at camp. I think the RTT will be the big positive as the swag is great but gets a chore on longer trips

Hey Bud Norweld do a permant fixed canopy and they do paint have it on my 2022 Hilux SR5

That’s great, when I enquired in the Adelaide office 18months ago they didn’t offer a full time canopy and would not paint & colour match
