I watch Brotherly Love podcast and I can see what Chilli means when she says he has a pure heart… it really comes across.
I absolutely love their relationship, and the way they both smile and glow, when they talk about each other. Absolutely beautiful!!!❤❤❤
They speak about each other in a way that reinforces that they are happy and it's complimentary too. I didn't hear or see Cheryl Burke compliment Matthew like Chilli has.

Chilli knows that she deserves to be loved back and in return, and Matthew realizes that too and they seem to share in each other's successes in a way that didn't happen in their prior romantic relationships.
Chilli seems so sweet and also very down to earth, So happy for her!

Nobody wants to say it so I will: Chilli didn't want or expect to be with a white man! She idealized a man in her mind, and he was rich & black. That's why her TV show "What Chilli Wants" didn't work. When she let go of that toxic "stick with your own kind" mentality, she found love. I'm glad to see her growth 💞
When Chilli realized that it might be a good idea to date someone who isn't in the music industry like she is and I think that it didn't help that many people inside and outside of the media wanted her to be with Usher even though that relationship became toxic for Chilli. Matthew and Chilli have their own separate careers but they support each other without resentment and indeed have more in common with each other than what's on paper. Chilli has also realized that just because a man has money doesn't mean that they have a good heart and good morals.

On her show she dated a lot of white guys. The last two in the running were white, but yes she was hoping Floyd would commit but we see that didn't happen. He probably just loved their friendship more. He didn't seem to want to be her man, which she finally got after he stood her up on that date. I love her and although her list was long, she held out until someone came close/met her requirements.

No, Chilli didn't settle at all. She knows her worth and was willing to wait for a man who really loves her back and, in return and has similar values.
Actually, he is settled, considering she's old and can never give him kids.

Why does he want kids with her when he knows she is too old? Her eggs are ancient, and I do not understand. If kids was his priority, why go for a 52 year old? Cheryl Burke was at least child bearing age. Doesn't Chili know by now if it seems too good to be true, it probably is? And loving his Mother doesn't seal any deal.

I wouldn't be surprised if Chilli froze her eggs and there's also surrogacy and adoption if they want to have children. I also think that Matthew did want children but his first marriage to Cheryl Burke became all about Cheryl's sobriety and her career aspirations, and that took over their marriage to the point that their marriage became toxic and I wondered what did Matthew want to do in his career and personal life? I also noticed that no one really asked Matthew what it was like to deal with Cheryl's sobriety.
@BitterSweetCoffee I wouldn't be surprised if Chilli froze her eggs after she mentioned that she wanted another child on "What Chilli Wants." Matthew and Chilli have money and resources and could use surrogacy or adoption if they want to have children. After all that Chilli has been through in her personal life, I am glad that she has found happiness in her personal life. If anyone watches Matthew Lawrence's Podcast with his brothers, it should be obvious to anyone who watches that Matthew loves Chilli back and in return.
