Cantona and Roy Keane were absolute legends. We need those type of players now to challenge Liverpool and man City in this decade. We need charismatic characters like them who are natural leaders.
To me Bobby Charlton is one of the greats of world football, together with most of the United players from the '50s and '60s. There are few teams that have had so many inspirational players as United.
If it wasn’t for the Munich Air Disaster, Manchester United would have won significantly more in both the league and European cup. They were the babes, set to dominate and it was all so cruelly taken away from these young boys. You talk about having inspirational players, they were inspirational in death. Only God knows the full inspiration if they would have lived. That tragedy was the single greatest tragedy in English football. Giants of the game lost at such a young age. If your rivalry has put blinkers on you, I understand but if you truly love football, you’ll understand what we all lost that day as football fans. As I Man Utd supporter, I feel the devastation of hillsborough, also. All those lives taken. God bless
Greatest player ferguson ever signed. He was the final cog that created that great Manchester United team. Miss them days they was magical. VIVA cantona.
Charlton wisely hints here that whilst Cantona was the catalyst, the emergence of the younger players over the next couple of seasons, helped to propel United into the best side in England. He knows his stuff does Sir Bobby - a true LEGEND
Legend we've had some great players world class players at man united ova the years the likes of Charlton law Beckham scholes cr7ronaldo Giggs Keane but cantona started the fight back for for United in the early 90s domination came then he retired before the treble but hes up there with these lot legend enough said
That is why I vote king Eric or legend Roy to be the next man United manager cos there hav a united aura and United DNA and sir Alex carisma personality and focous
Cantona was the catalyst , who gave United the belief to be the Best, .....and they was,.....he was cocky, confident and played with a swagger,.. and his arrogance self belief inspired the new generation of stars at United....
I remember the first time I saw him,it was at Sheffield wednesday.it was a trial game I'm sure but I just knew this man was different at the time.i was right
Young players these days are thrown in and expected to make a case for themselves, it took time to these no doubt talented youngsters to gel, unfortunately in todays football managers want instant impact and performance from young players who haven't trained or played with these modern day stars.
I would swap Ronaldo for Scholes. Also not sure if you intended to put it in that order, but every United list *_HAS_* to start with the Trinity! If we're talking best players to have played for United, it should go: Best, Law, Charlton, Scholes, Cristiano.

The swagger, the style all hail King Cantona.
Arguably fergies best singing he changed United into a unstoppable force
S Ewing lol ma bad
Not really, Roy Keane has done much more for the club, but Cantona was obviously great.
@John Jensen But he wasn't exactly signed by Sir Alex?
@John Jensen Absolutely, he is the best English footballer of all time and one of the best to ever do it. A walking legend.
Where can I hear this singing?
What a legend. Sir Bobby Charlton. Symbolises Manchester United.
To me Bobby Charlton is one of the greats of world football, together with most of the United players from the '50s and '60s. There are few teams that have had so many inspirational players as United.
Not as much as Liverpool or Real Madrid or even Barca
@honestmanutdfan603 No team has had more greatest players that had played for Barca/RM, they literally had them in dozens.

He knows his stuff does Sir Bobby - a true LEGEND
But its obvious what hes saying
Just gave me so much happiness to watch him play
Two of my favorite players of all time.
Correct. Eric made the difference
VERY BIG DIFFERENCE.
What a great “hommage” ! The Best i heard ever for the king!
Eric never won the champions league but prepared them 4 it.
Every trophy we won the next 6-7 years was a biproduct of Cantona
Shame he fell out of love with football before 99, would have only been turning 33
@@the90sfattyfromtakethat he could have played till he was 36. He had a good 3 years left in him and should have been in the 99 team.
@@superamario6464 yes he could but he found a new love in stage and theatre.
This man is the best, along with George. And then Cantona in 3rd for best MU players
The result of mutual respect between Ferguson and Cantona. As told by the legend Sir Bobby Charlton.
Been a Utd fan since 1985. To this day, he is the most influential player Utd have had in my lifetime.
Rip😢Bobby Charlton😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🫡🫡🫡
Cantona was simply a joy to watch
Legend we've had some great players world class players at man united ova the years the likes of Charlton law Beckham scholes cr7ronaldo Giggs Keane but cantona started the fight back for for United in the early 90s domination came then he retired before the treble but hes up there with these lot legend enough said
Shows you that you need a magical player. Cantona sure left swagger for 99 🙏 legend
That is why I vote king Eric or legend Roy to be the next man United manager cos there hav a united aura and United DNA and sir Alex carisma personality and focous
Sir Bobby Charlton on the £50 note with 3 lions holding a football love ya Bobby and Eric 😤😤😇😇😇😇xx
Crazy dude but he definitely backed it up with sensational football especially in the finals he was also the first foreigner to lift the league cup
Éric was different yet that’s what made him! Being in England was what made himself come out! ❤
Cantona was the catalyst , who gave United the belief to be the Best, .....and they was,.....he was cocky, confident and played with a swagger,.. and his arrogance self belief inspired the new generation of stars at United....
A magical time I was there at Selhurst Park.
Rest in peace, Sir Bobby...
sir Bobby Charlton was the greatest a ture legend mufc
Two great lads..
I remember the first time I saw him,it was at Sheffield wednesday.it was a trial game I'm sure but I just knew this man was different at the time.i was right
The most important signing of all time. Without ooh aah we'd be nowhere.
Sir Bobby was a superb manager in my opinion.
With all due respect to Sir Bobby. Where was he a superb manager at in your opinion?
@@steetee725 haha.
...bless
I can only remember him managing Preston, and it wasn't a great success
Of course Cantona should be handled differently, he is the King of kings.
I agree with everything Bobby says here.
The Man
And you rejected Denis Irwin to Leeds before that.
Damn what a move getting Eric
cantona was the best as lfc fan here he is the one who bring premier league tittle xm after 27 years
Cantona has to be in the top 3 but there is Scholes,Best ,Giggs ,Charlton , Law
No manager can handle Eric Cantona , other than the great Alex Fergusson.
I love Cantona..... BUT ...you Sir Bobby, are GOD
Eric Cantona's unconditional love for Manchester United is as strong now as it ever was: ua-cam.com/video/prSMt51zlj4/v-deo.html
Best young players around a star not always succeed

long live the king!
Tristan saralidze
He's not in my all time Man Utd top five. That would be: Best Ronaldo Charlton Law Robson.
Apart from Ronaldo theyve nevar won much
Edwards ?
I would swap Ronaldo for Scholes. Also not sure if you intended to put it in that order, but every United list *_HAS_* to start with the Trinity!

Utd would have won FA only for Cantona.
