The vertical and horizontal arrangement of the yarn is warp and weft,the spindle shaped device that is used to carry the thread is the Shuttle. Am so humbled to see this video,been working with weavers for the past 5years,been producing sarees which are manually handwoven and handspun.
The best thing was the slo-mo on the power loom and the traditional Indian music in the background. Quite informative video. I would love to know the name of the song as well :)

Please show more videos on indigenous vegetables, millets and herbs. Especially all types of millets. They are healthy but cost about Rs. 70+ for half a kilo. The more farmers produce, people and farmers both will benefit financially and health wise.

And, the small rollers are bobbins - which are got wound and placed in the shuttle, from bigger roller (cone)
