Hi, do you use a method to know how much rope you will need, because i would like to do it but longer.

Hi, when I make straps with square knots, I do this - Working cords should be 5 times longer than filler cords. So if you want the strap 40inches long, mark at 40inch and you will need 200 inch of working cord on each side. Does this make sense?
