I think we are going to use the steel valve stems on the Valiant because of the same quality issues.

I've had problems with rubber valve stems the last 2-3 years. I started switching to bolt in stainless steel valve stems. 👍👍👍

That's the way to go. I won't be buying any just yet though, I have about 70 older stock rubber ones to get through first 😁

Possibly! I do fit my own replacements, and use a new valve each time. I'll nibble through them over time.

Bloody hell. That is just stupid. those connections would be under no load at all (Only experiencing weather impacts.) How could they start splitting.
