I agree I can’t believe the people who travel for. Week or two to Paris and waste hours and hours to get a bag. I am a bag buyer hence my profile name but no way would I be doing these crazy behaviour in Paris. I shop with my local boutique and quite happy at that.
@@preidie I mean it's all fun and game if you do get accepted for a leather appointment, then just make a quick trip there to see if anything nice pops up. Definitely not worth the headache from dealing with multiple SA's and begging front desk staff for cancelled appointment slots though...But I do understand how some people want to put all the effort into 'scoring' a bag in Paris if they don't have a local boutique nearby or a good relationship with their SA's

From what I see listening to many people, we should lower our expectations going to Paris. I’m going there this Spring but I’m not planning to go to get a bag. It’s too much time consuming for my taste. I want to enjoy my family trip more than I want to score a bag from Paris. I prefer to continue to shop in my local boutique and get quota bags from there. As far as non quota bags, I’m all about getting them from the website. This way, I don’t need any pre spend and I get exactly what I want. Thank you for sharing, people that spills the tea like you help us make a decision if we go for it or not.
You are right love! It’s better to have lower expectations. I thought I always did but still the feelings are not easy when the reality kicks in. You should be able to get a bag just really difficult for BKC at least now. But I understand the pre spending so getting from the website is awesome. No need to deal w any spending. I just wanted to come back to tell you that I actually got a Kelly in Paris on my trip. I was planning just to go to Hermès to see the stores and maybe bring bag small things. To my own surprise, it was so easy to get a bag, I still cannot believe it. 🥰 And in between I’ve got a birkin 25 from my home store.

Can I apply to the lottery system if outside of Paris? I might be in Switzerland for 11 days in April, and was thinking I would apply every morning and if I get an appointment, I can jump on a quick flight to Paris. Wife has supported me with my Rolex collecting, now I have to get her a Hermes bag!

Watched again of your previous videos on your beautiful gray Constance 24. So much in love with that gray color, but debate on the size. Would you share your thought on your C24 and if you still enjoy it more than a C18 if you may have one? I have a C18. Although love it in general, the fact that it does not fit a big phone bothers me. I see no point carrying a bag with only card holder but with phone in hand or pocket, while the cards can be easier to carry in the pocket. Wish all is well.
I was fortunate that the check in person simply asked me to come back in an hour. My gf and all her friends were shocked that they allowed me in and got three bags.
There were customers who refused to buy the other stuffs right after checking out for the bkc. What you described, luring you to buy other stuffs but didn’t give you bkc, is a reversal scenario of the former situation. I feel sorry for you. I hate how bad customers have made it harder for everyone nowadays.

Hi, I have a genuine question, is there a particular reason why somebody with enough money cannot just go into the shop, ask for the bag they want, and pay for it?
Hermes wants you to buy into other categories. It’s a sales tactic to encourage spending on other products tagged under exclusivity. It also reduces the number of resellers who buy the bag and scrounge up the prices on the resale market.
@silvershoes9724 Hermes can manufacture as many bags as they want, but they pretend that they can't and the bags they do have are very rare and scarce. They also make it difficult even to get into the shop, and if you do get in the shop you might not be offered one of these rare and scarce bags. The harder it seems to get a product, the more women seem to want them. It's brilliant sales and marketing by Hermes. They have customers believing that they are honoured to be "offered" an overpriced bag, even if it is not the one they want. Honestly I struggle with understanding why so many women fall for their tactics.
NOT gonna try, NOT gonna play their games....If they don't want to sell to a person who has the cash and won't hire enough people to boost up availability, to hell with them. There are plenty of very attractive, & well made great leather handbags being sold by companies happy to get your business....These are the people I enjoy helping be productive and successful.

@Sasa Zoe You guessed correctly. Since it was the absolute last shopping of the trip and I plan to wear the shoes, I skipped the boxes as I had checked in the main luggage 😅.

I got Birkin Chevre de Coromandel last year M y SA said was good leather and rare item . For this year My SA offer me Chèvre Mysore . I would like to ask your opinion I should buy or I should not buy and My SA is good for me or not.

I agreed 100% to shop around for SA. Masks made it possible for me to switched a few times till I found my current SA. If you spent $15,000 with your SA, you think you can get a bag?

Can I apply to the lottery system if outside of Paris? I might be in Switzerland for 11 days in April, and was thinking I would apply every morning and if I get an appointment, I can jump on a quick flight to Paris.

Watched again of your previous videos on your beautiful gray Constance 24. So much in love with that gray color, but debate on the size. Would you share your thought on your C24 and if you still enjoy it more than a C18 if you may have one? I have a C18. Although love it in general, the fact that it does not fit a big phone bothers me. I see no point carrying a bag with only card holder but with phone in hand or pocket, while the cards can be easier to carry in the pocket. Wish all is well.

I was fortunate that the check in person simply asked me to come back in an hour. My gf and all her friends were shocked that they allowed me in and got three bags.

There were customers who refused to buy the other stuffs right after checking out for the bkc. What you described, luring you to buy other stuffs but didn’t give you bkc, is a reversal scenario of the former situation. I feel sorry for you. I hate how bad customers have made it harder for everyone nowadays.

Hi, I have a genuine question, is there a particular reason why somebody with enough money cannot just go into the shop, ask for the bag they want, and pay for it?
Hermes wants you to buy into other categories. It’s a sales tactic to encourage spending on other products tagged under exclusivity. It also reduces the number of resellers who buy the bag and scrounge up the prices on the resale market.
@silvershoes9724 Hermes can manufacture as many bags as they want, but they pretend that they can't and the bags they do have are very rare and scarce.
They also make it difficult even to get into the shop, and if you do get in the shop you might not be offered one of these rare and scarce bags.
The harder it seems to get a product, the more women seem to want them. It's brilliant sales and marketing by Hermes. They have customers believing that they are honoured to be "offered" an overpriced bag, even if it is not the one they want.
Honestly I struggle with understanding why so many women fall for their tactics.
NOT gonna try, NOT gonna play their games....If they don't want to sell to a person who has the cash and won't hire enough people to boost up availability, to hell with them. There are plenty of very attractive, & well made great leather handbags being sold by companies happy to get your business....These are the people I enjoy helping be productive and successful.
