I can absolutely tell you're playing on PC. Lol. I haven't even tried to decorate because it's so awkward and annoying to try to grab and move things on the Switch. The storage room looks great!
Thank you and yes! I play on my switch the majority of the time and when I decided I wanted to get back into content creation, I KNEW I wanted to make content with this game. I got myself the gamepass to tide me over until the game is free. I understand that's not an option for everyone though. I wish it wasn't so awkward on the switch lol

Take out some trees in the forgotten lands you only need 4 to 5 to get the wood... More trees does not equal more wood

I’d love if they would just allow you type onto the sign wouldnt that make this whole thing so much easier like I don’t want to have 10 forageable chests and have to go through all of them!!
That would make it a lot easier but I know that would be super difficult for some platforms to be able to type on. I have 1 foragable chest and that seems to work well. (Redid my storage)

I feel like the signs behind the chests would work a lot more better spaced out if they’d let us make the rooms bigger than 10x10 that way we could have more room to decorate with stuff
Agreed! I could have spaced them out more but I still wanted the room to be cozy lol

Like the bigger room would help with the spacing out of the chests and being able to make a cozy area if we could bigger than 10 by 10 for the floor and room area. Since we would have room for chests and a sitting area at the same time
@@Sangelsaur since even my storage room feels cramed in at times even though I don’t have much in it because Iam still working on it and some of the rooms don’t feel like they are big enough either that or not making certain items huge would also help
@@Sangelsaur plus I also feel like the rooms and floors should be big enough to do both spaced storage areas and a sitting area along with other items I have somewhat have sitting areas in my storage area as well but I also feel like they should let us make the floors and rooms bigger than 10x10 since some of items are so big when they don’t need to be that big
i’m at the point in my game where i need to start a storage room, i was thinking about putting mine outside, can you explain why you wanted to move yours inside? :)
i just hate the extra loading screen haha!
I just didn't want a garden style storage room, I also have decided where I want to put my house and decorate yet :)
@Mya Belle:people put the storage room indoors because if you put the chests outside it counts towards the item limit where as if you put it inside it won’t count towards the item limit

Floors or maybe more just incase players want to do themed rooms for certain other characters so we could have room for a lot of stuff being on display while most likely having room for a storage room I expand my house only when I feel like it it’s need to be expanded I only have like 12 floors in my house and that’s only because the other floors in my house are themed rooms and floors and certain floors also started on bathroom areas While floor 7 is a indoor storage room split between 4 rooms. Since there is suppose to be a part 2 to the game with more characters eventually coming since they are trying to add in as many characters as possible into the game. animal crossing for example let’s you stop expanding your house at like floor 6 yet it has a lot of stuff for you to collect at the same time.

They have to do something about the furniture rarity system. I keep getting repeats myself. And I’m on switch so either it’s really hard to do a reset or the reset doesn’t exist.
I get a good variety of stuff I don't have. I just look for the red circle lol
I want to redo my storage room and found this very helpful. I'm definitely going to do something like that whenever I can. The only thing is, I don't have the Forgotten Lands unlocked yet, can I get the wood that I would need for those large chests anywhere else??? Thanks so much for sharing this and your storage room looks great, by the way
I believe the forgotten lands is the only place to get the wood!

Love the storage room! Now I want to create one and go into full organisation mode. Is there a reason why you use plaza trees and not regular forgotten lands trees? I get a lot of dark wood, but I use the ones that is typical for the biome. Also, Mr. Star in Sky made a really in depth video about how trees work in the game that says how often they spawn and exactly how many. You should check it out if you want to increase your dark wood inventory 😊
It just made it easier to get around the forgotten lands and to be able to see the wood without tree shadows :)
@@Sangelsaur that makes sense! I've been thinking about setting up some sort of tree farm to make it easier to just go and forage

All those smaller storage chests, can you break them down? Also how do you move them? Can you just place them in your house mode inventory?
Yes but they have to be empty first

I just got the game last night. So confused with how to move things around in the world. Dont know how to, I was wanting to move the raspberry bushes near each other, want to move my 1 starter storage chest, i dont know if i can?
So bushes you have to go into the build mode I went into to gather up the storage chests. Click and drag to where you want it to go. It's pretty finicky on switch but can be done. The storage chests have to be empty prior to putting in your inventory.

I wanna do a storage room finally 😂. It’s going to take 200 dark wood for 8 chests but that is now where near enough large chests
