Legit? It's a weak attempt for Segura to identify with Koy's level of humor and he falls way short of succeeding. He has little insight if he thinks "funny" is videotaping his mom, farting.
Charly Jo Coy’s entire body of work is 75% ripping on his mom. What do you think “funny” is? I believe Tom Segura to be fucking hilarious. I'm a half Filipino/Caucasian also and your stories about your mom are dead on. My Mom passed 2 years ago and I died laughing and crying at the same time. Thanks for the memories.
I feel Joe Koy’s pain. My mom is a Korean immigrant from postwar South Korea and I was born a half Asian and American kid. I’m an artist and to this day she will still tell me to get a good job with insurance and retirement. Which is great but I feel his pain. It’s hard to talk to my mom about dreams. She said dreams are for children.

Ilocano is a Filipino also hahaha I’m Ilocano and 80% of Filipinos migrated in Hawaii are Ilocanos thanks to apo lakay Ferdinand Marcos. It was unwritten in Phil History but for everyone to know he was the one who sent Ilocanos to Hawaii to study the way they plant fruits especially pineapple as we all know Ilocos region is rich when it comes to agriculture.
No lie! My mom is Filipina and would whoop my ass with the bamboo spoon or flip flop if I was in the kitchen when she was cooking. Her favorite cuss word was "SHIT!" I love you mom.
