Ironically, my favorite landing spot was originally "Weeping Woods" but after chapter 4, I always landed at "Solitary Shrine" and never landed anywhere else. Since day 1 of the chapter until now. All my scrapped videos started at Solitary Shrine, its sad to see it gone. It was always off on its own, had decent loot, and not many players. It had the perfect loot circle, land at Solitary Shrine, go get the slurp truck, talk to the bear, then go to the town just over the hill.
I feel like the drum shotgun was brought back to replace the combat

That’s what Fortnite does. If you like an item/thing it gets deleted but if you don’t it stays.
Travel stuff has generally been slow dripped into new seasons as they want people to explore a bit and then as time goes on and people start feeling a bit grindy with the travel they add in some items to help. Makes sense from a design perspective.
They probably vaulted the flint knock because soaring sprints is back in the game, and if anyone here remembers what you could do with soaring sprints and The Dub shotgun, then you know what im talking about
An NPC at frenzy fields has the chug splashes, but not so you could buy it. She’s a medic, and has the chug splashes so throughout the game if you have like low shield or low health, she will splashy would chug splashes

As a controller player, I already know this! There is literally text saying this! If controller people don't know this, its ethier because they never tried a thermal DMR, or they didn't look close enough.

To be fair, we didn't need a warning for ODM gear and the web shooters to be removed. To was obvious they were gonna be gone by the end of last season
there is one thing i wish epic did with the save the world which would be to let everyone who has consumeable to keep the consumeables or at the very least have a craftable consumeables with health and shields

I don't think the Herald Tree created the Jungle because the Jungle and the locations within it are apparantely Suuuuuuuper old. Considering the Herald Tree is a fairly new creation, it can't have created the Jungle.

In my opinion, the red dot was mid. It did do a lot of damage but it just has such a slow fire rate that whenever i shoot someone they build after like the first or second shot so I think the mk is a upgrade.
And thats why I only play zero build. Zero build was the only reason I came back to Fortnite in the 1st place

I didn’t use the shield keg so much that I didn’t even know it was gone
It was best playing in groups because everyone can get shield at once

8 believe they are trying to get ahead of the bigs this season so they are drip feeding the new stuff till it's all out. Helps with finding bugs much faster and then you put in the next one. Last season had so many problems and they just did a dump of content and it made it a job to correct. That's probably why the sword had to be cut out completely cause there were game breaking bugs that could not just be deleted like the sword was last season. I believe the heavy sniper, and possibly the havocs are going to be leaving as well.
Well from what I remember there was a bug/ exploit with the katana in which a person could get loads of them. And it wasn't like removing them would hurt the mobility pool for that season anyways.
Also side note it was similar reason with the shockwave hammer from season 1 in which hitting the ruin portal with it broke the game of those playing.
I feel with the new season, the rest of the map has reverted back to the way it was at the start of season 2 (so no grind rails at POI'S other than mega city, and no monoliths etc)

I think Epic is slowly preparing everything on the island for season 4, becaus they made it official that each chapter will only last 4 seasons and then we will have a new chapter (that also means a new island)
They never OFFICIALLY said it, atleast not yet. We've only had one chapter that's 4 seasons long and this Chapter hasn't ended yet. We only have LEAKS about it ending soon, but I wouldn't treat them as absolute fact.
This was sad they removed some popular items in Fortnite
They should add the grapple glove it would fit the season and good movement and they should add the dial-a-drop back as I think it would fit the season

i think they removed the red eye because for some reason they only want one red dot gun in the game like this is what has happened with red dot guns MK7 added Striker Burst added MK7 remover red eye added striker burst removed MKA added red eye removed so it was meant to be in the game and was not a mistake so yeah they've done this before too

The new mk is just as good as the first in my opinion
Epic also fumbled the battle pass in the sense that Optimus barley has any cosmetics and this season is the only season in chapter 4 to not have a traversal emote(if it did, it probably would've been Optimus transforming into a truck
They might add new ones to the item shop though.
I wonder if either the devs were just not huge fans of Transformers or they just REALLY liked the Era skin, because she got 3 whole pages. If she just had the normal 2, Optimus could've gotten an extra page.
They wouldn't do the Optimus transforming into a truck emote though because it would change your character's hitbox and make it harder to hit headshots.

Last season when the vaults were nerfed the pulse rifle also only dropped two
Something needs to replace the kinetic blade, it was great for mobility and traveling. Now that it’s gone it’s much harder to get around the map excluding vehicles.
It was removed because it had a glitch that could be exploited by cheaters to get free kills. Epic will have to fix this bug before it can be allowed back in the game. It's still available to be placed in creative mode though.
Man you know whats more disappointing we only got the Web Shooters for like 2 weeks and they were ripped away again

I think the reason the explosive red eye is because the regular was supposed to go, but it didnt, so it didnt make sense.
I honestly don't mind it at all , really threw things for a loop and I enjoy the changes. I love the mythic drum, and I love the lack of movement because it's mixed things up and threw everyone off. I think they kept most of Poi's I cared about. (although I miss anvil, but last season it was not important. Oh and I loved solitary shrine.)

@@TheChristianWood Right, but without a vault I felt very little inclination to drop there , and it always just seemed not as many players were there, but as for the collab, it was ending, so it made sense to remove it this season.

Yeah but they don't have cars in comp, and grind rails, zip lines, are no use since if you are getting chased you won't lose distance since enemy can grind rail to you too. And I think they have dinosaurs in comp, they are still really slow. Cars the the only good mobility, but I would rather have odm/sword since you can attack, odm slash specially is great. Also we do have rocks, but only in shattered and its a slow get-away since you have to wait till they move and where you land isn't accurate, and you might miss the rock, you also have to chase it after it falls, its just not efficient
I like this season a lot, just need some movement and red eye back, Mk has too much recoil

Im actually so glad theres no mobility. U could get mythic odm gear and spiderman web shooters off spawn so easily and kids would run away so easily like that and then come back to get a reboot card and run away again. It was so annoying. they were also free instant highground takers. If people want good rotation items they should add back rift to go and launch pad because those were 1 time uses but u could get to the circle good with them and they werent op. not to mention the odm gear could destroy all builds around it so easily. Big W on epic for not adding mobility

I'm so sad about slap n' go because that gave me good loot every time I landed there and I had landed at that location since chapter 2 so that location meant something to me.
Aside from the Gas station, flintlock, Tracker pistol, and keg, I have completely forgotten about the rest of where the jungle is now.

Flareguns are everywhere, i had a guy in Mega with 4 Flareguns in his inventory then 2 on the ground beside him, it was hell with fire raining down upon my team for minutes straight

When I played my first day of season 2 I saw that a little house which had 3 chests and cool chest got removed and when I first loaded season 3 I wanted to land at my favourite location of season 2 looking for it and realising solitary shrine gone
I would land at solitary shrine with my friend. We never landed anywhere else. We even had a system. We dropped there. Got slurp truck. Hired teddy npc. Then go just in time to get a mythic havoc shotgun near by with a truck
In my opinion they picked the worst time to add the spider man gloves they would have been so fun with the amount of trees on the map now 🤧

The thermal DMR can be turned back into the cobra DMR by pressing a button and it takes away the thermal vision
Thank GOD they nerfed Loot Island. Last season's mythic pulse rifle was a war crime.

Honestly I'm glad that the red eye is deleted cause I hated the recoil from that thing and I like the mk alpha alot better cause it was easier to handle and aim better that'd just my preference though.
The red eye had negative recoil wdym? The only thing I hated about it was that PC players had “aim bot” with it and when I’d fly around with ODM or the web launcher I’d instantly get shot out of the sky from 5 billion miles away
