Crimson did not show up till 2am!! delayed flight. God were we wasted. 😉😝So close to the stage . Absolutely phenomenal ! Still love em at age 71
Had my first accident listening to this song. Got rear ended, was about 3:45 to 3:55 when the other car hit mine. Finishing it here because I didn’t get to while driving.
My dad saw Crimson sometime in late 80s and was highly upset they didnt even touch on this album...but that is a bands perogative. I would have been bummed also as to me its their crowning jewel Lp. Although I love Giles Giles and Fripp earlier works just as much. And then there came McDonald and Giles breakaway album....ahhh😊Birdman....another masterpiece. In the end, I love all things King Crimson.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another of the magnificent songs from the album "In the Court of the Crimson King". Of the group that recorded this gem, only Robert Fripp remains. I am not going to argue if Fripp is the best guitarist in the world, it is something subjective. But I do affirm that he is the most influential guitarist. Apart from his discography with King Crimson, SOBERBIA. Apart from his solo discography of his, MAGNIFICENT. Fripp has collaborated with countless musicians. Musicians of very different musical genres. Names like Brian Eno, David Bowie, David Sylvian, The Orb, Future Sound of London, No-man, Talking Heads, Blondie, Robert Miles, The Grid, The League of Crafty Guitarists, etc., ect., have counted in their records with Fripp's guitar. In some of those albums he has provided sound environments, in others he has left some of his best solos. LONG LIVE ROBERT FRIPP AND LONG LIVE TO HIS BRILLIANCE Many of those collaborations are on this social network. But there is a channel, which is dedicated only to these collaborations, which among the videos it has published has included a topic that was not yet available on any channel, and another topic that was incomplete. Yes had performed with King Crimson in 1969. You can hear how this song would have had a lot of influence on songs on the Yes Album and Fragile later on.

The radio edit of 21st Century Schizoid Man, it cuts the Wind Session and the instrumental extend from the end, there's no much difference between this and the original track.
No but it’s actually how the band tells a story through their music. Most music now is just side music listened to whilst doing other things but this is very obviously a story about a veteran who fought in Vietnam and came back with a split personality, the start and end of the song represent the man’s destructive character which was made after the war and the middle is him trying to hold it off, or another personality even. At the very end they tell us that he collapses through the mixing between the 2 variants of the song. That’s how I see it
