Thank again for another reverie of my Paw Paw, Roosevelt Twitty Sr. When my Dad Aunts and Uncles presented you with his Gibson I was elated bc they had me cleat up the night before. Awesome video, really captured the feel of the song! If you are all really serious about doing a LIVE album then that is sick! Your live shows are like no other. If I were to build my dream live album with a reasonable limit of songs, I would focus it on three things. 1, songs that come alive in a new way in a live setting. 2, songs that don't have release otherwise. 3, greatest hits (imo). Anything you decide on would be killer I'm sure, but this is what I would dream up: 1. Like It's the Last Time 2. Say a Prayer 3. Bare Bones 4. Sunshine 5. Drive Me Mad 6. Old Bones 7. Fire & Brimstone 8. Don't Mind the Blood 9. Strike/Burnin' 10. Love Like Thing 11. The Wayside 12. Here Comes Rosie 13. Lipstick Wonder Woman (extended version) (wow this was really hard)
7.4K....I don’t get it. How can a band be so underrated... How does such quality reach so few people... The whole music is alive... the vibe... There are instruments and real, flesh and blood people, artists... What’s going on that the algorithm isn’t spreading the word?
No, it's not referring to Harry Potter. A well is a hole in the ground. So being down in a well is a bad situation. They decided to repeat well two more times to make it "well well well." That's an expression someone might use when they discover something. "Well well well, what do we have here? It's the smoking gun from the murder that just happened." I can't explain exactly how well well well relates to the song (I only heard it once so far).
Every song sounds the same. They peaked at Truth And Lies and it’s been in decline since about the time Noah left. Hoping they get back to harder rock and ditch the same resonator guitar and drone vocals through an effect that they seem to use on every song. They were so good on the Shakedown and Truth And Lies albums and a great live band that I’ve seen 3 times. Still hopeful and have not given up on them
So theyve found what sound they like, has never once been a decline in the music or anything! In fact I think their music has gotten more and more real and authentic, every song has kind of its own story in a way. And as a musician that’s amazing. I’m proud of TBSD!!!
@@ethancapshaw1074 if you like it that’s great. It’s just become so uninspired and derivative for my taste. They are capable of much more as rockers. Why would a super talented guitarist - Tyler and Graham as well not want to use their talents as shredders and continue to play this stuff?
@@flyingburritobro68 you're entitled to your opinion my man, but I hard disagree! I think they continue to evolve with each new release, especially as songwriters. Restraint is a lovely tool and I feel like they focus on hitting the right notes rather than flat laying out everything they are capable of shredding wise. It's not like they need to prove themselves as insane musicians. Also mate, they literally have a "shredding" track on this same EP 😅 You should listen to Fire and Brimstone if you have not yet.
