Our vision - Mohammed VI Polytechnic University

Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, an institution oriented towards applied research and innovation with a focus on Africa.
Founded and supported by OCP Foundation, UM6P is engaged in economic and human development and puts research and innovation at the forefront of African development.
The University was inaugurated in 2017 to contribute to educating a new generation of African leaders, aware of their continent’s main challenges and ready to face them.
Located in Benguerir, near Marrakech, in the heart of Mohammed VI Green City, UM6P is a land grant, non-for-profit University, which aims to reveal the potential of Moroccan youth and more broadly students from all over Africa.
This Safe Space, which welcomes life in all its diversity, complexity and opportunities, is designed to foster scientific, cultural, sporting and artistic emulation, all infrastructures are open to the community.
By promoting social and territorial inclusion, UM6P adopts a sustainable participatory approach: students and researchers are the main players in an academic experience, creating shared value at the service of the entire ecosystem. We innovate, we study, we build and move forward together.
