Two things these videos keep reinforcing in my mind - no matter the road conditions, visibility, level of traffic, overtaking a vehicle in a two lane road is never, ever worth the risk. Just as every gun should be treated like it’s loaded, I’d want to treat every oncoming traffic lane like it’ll have a crazy wildly swerving speeding madman teleporting out of nowhere, solid yellow lines or no. Also it’s never worth possibly oversteering into oncoming traffic. If loss of control takes me off road, better to hit something stationary than to risk hitting something heading my way at equal speed.
