They get paid very well considering only being paid flight time. Makes up for the lost time and then some. I imagine shop keepers get paid between 10-15 an hour vs 60-80

When I worked for the T.S.A.--before checked baggage screening was behind closed doors, I loved it when the crews showed up. You would be the kind of cabin crew member I'd certainly enjoy seeing. Keep up the good work!

Do they teach you how to pack? I always marvel at how small a suitcase the flight attendants use. I imagine you learn how to pack a lot more efficiently that I do. Very impressed!
Charlie Nostrand you learn as you go and you get advices from coworkers that have been doing it for years. 5 months ago a packed in my 2 crew bags 16 outfits, 6 pairs of shoes, 3 hats, 5 purses, 6 bathing suits and my toiletries for a 14 days vacation trip to Nice France and the Canary Islands. Girl I feel you, it's the worst when you have the longest day but only get paid a portion of that! The delays at LGA recently have been miserable! I try my best not to let it get to me, since I get to travel to so many amazing places ❤️ Love you Stella!
Just subscribed. I really like your positive attitude. Even though you've had a rough 3 days you still found a positive from it. Nice to know some little behind the scene of a flight attendant. Maybe now I can appreciate a flight attendant when they may be having a bad day. I've been a server for over 20 yrs and I love to travel but the 2 together, no way. Stay positive!
Yay!! I love how you put your “legs” at the bottom of the video! Trying to memorize them hehe 😜 and this is the reason why i cant wait to become hired as an FA!! Just seeing the reality of it makes me just soo excited!! ❤️
Hi Stella, I am also a flight attendant, here in Brazil, and you are not going to believe when I say that last monday I had 6 legs! Exactly, 6 legs, all regional flights, about 1 hour each. I know how we can get tired at our job 😅. I loooove your videos. 😍😘
Here is scotland uk until very recently we used to do 6 legs. which were 25 mins actual flights 25-30 min spin/turn. Thursday and friday evening so weekend travellers. Service required full of football/soccer fans so crazy busy.
It's so funny - as a travel/aviation/transportation buff, I follow several vloggers who literally do what you do for fun - that is flying around the world and staying in nice hotels, lol! It is also something I am aspiring to do more often when time allows. Any job in the transportation field, such as a train conductor (my job) beats the heck out of a "real" 9-5 and I wouldn't change it for the world (well... idk, I kinda want to be a flight attendant now lol) But I'd be curious to know what airline run sheets (or whatever you guys call them) look like - the sheets that have the assignments on them. For instance, for the railroad I work for, our run sheets have job symbols such as "HB-17" which is the assignment, then it has your on-duty time and the trains that you work (although it doesn't give times - you have to look that up yourself in the employee timetable). There are also three different job categories that conductors can hold for passenger service: Conductor (the person in charge of the train), Brakeman and Ticket Collector. Non passenger jobs only have a conductor and brakeman and some only have a conductor. All have engineers (the person who operates the train) but that is a different craft, just like pilots in the airline industry. Then there's flagging jobs but that's a whole different thing, lol...
I have absolutely no idea how I got here but you have a bubbly personality, it's contagious and suddenly I'm happy to watch this. Can't explain it lol.
We coworkers I see. Love your positive work energy. Sadly you do not fly our area it's seems cause I'm a small regional station and you seem to be doing bigger hub airports. It's great to know that you love the company and I enjoy it too. It's tough no matter the position in the airline industry and many do not get it. They think it's easy and it's really not. Lots of patience and a true love for people (which can be hard some days), And a great spirit as well. Love having you as a coworker. Maybe I'll get a chance to meet ya in the air one day who knows.
Eleonora Nostradamus once i a while is fine but if you fly often as stella, then yes its very bad for not just your skin but overall health. Your body reacts differently too in high altitudes.

It varies from month to month. Never the same. At my airline, by contractual law, we have to get 12 days off. Thank you to you and all the fight attendance that put in those long hours just to make our flights safe and comfortable. I think y’all need to be paid for the waiting times in between flights.

Full time gets 80 credits usually so lol it's less than a part time job but your on the clock more than a full time job.
