Ethnic cleansing done in so many Muslim majority countries (Syria, Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iran, Afghanistan etc.) of both non-Muslim minorities (Christians, Yazidis, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists etc) and minority Muslims sects (Kurds, Shia, Ahmadias, Hazara etc.). Why do you hardly hear about them? Why are there no demonstrations for each one of these communities?
2. Misogynistic treatment of girls and women in education, marriage, divorce, inheritance, dress code and social restrictions. Why isn’t much NYT reporting on this ongoing silent oppression.
3. Why do after almost all cross border terrorist killings of civilians you hear a shout of Allhu Akbar?
4. Are the perpetrators so brainwashed against the victims? From where? They probably will cite Shariah or Qran. If that’s true, shouldn’t we modernize the 7th century civility code to 21st century civility code? Why aren’t discussions about this?

I know everybody at the table was probably so unnerved and uncomfortable hearing her ask the question, but it is the right question to ask, the question I would have asked, I would have pushed back and say two wrongs. Don't make a right. Israel is doing to Gaza what was done to them and it's not right. The vice president's true colors shined through with that horrible answer. Israel does have the right to defend itself, it does not have the right to commit genocide and ethnically cleanse People in an open-air prison

Israel knows this and is using the attack on Oct 7 as an excuse to drive Palestinans from Gaza. Listen to what Israeli politicians have said, they do not want to give up control of Gaza once the fighting is over. The Biden administration wants a two state solution. Israel does not.
Her answer on Gaza should’ve been much better. It’s actually not that hard to tell the truth even if the truth is painful. Everyone should study Obama’s response and refer to it every single time.

I don’t understand why sunny would phrase her question based on a poll of “young people” rather than voicing the concerns of Muslim and Arab Americans, which after the black and female vote were the most important voting block in swing states that won Biden his election.
