In every successful student's life there is a turning point. My teacher was such a turning point for me. Once I was very weak in math . I still remember how he contributed to remove my weakness. His methods were like magic. I have taken this methods such a herritage as like a disciple does to his master's gift .
That one boss who taught u everything from dodging to mastering of weapons one badass sensei to be honest every defeat he gives a lesson to remind you your mistakes, I was a die hard shadow fight 2 fan and I took hermit words serious getting defeated by him 3 time in every game till I finally defeated him after that i fought in hand to hand combat to master powerful kick combos and badass dodging skills and mastery in kurisagima, krises and composite sword,being aggressive to opponents taking big challenge in eclipse on impossible mode and as of till this day i can say it was a great honor being one of hermit deciple , #Respect

It is implied that hermit was responsible for the downfall of them all, making sure his school was the only functioning school. Which is pretty obvious since he can be seen willing to do anything to get his school a better name, in old wounds storyline. All shadow demons are inherently evil, atleast in a way or two. Edit: hermit can be seen acting kind to shadow because shadow’s skill and potential is unlike any student he has seen before, after all, “skill” is what hermit values above all in his opponents.
