- So happy to have the San Marino Motor Classic back after two years! This event is sometimes referred to as the Pebble Beach of Southern California, as many of the finest automobiles are displayed there year after year. This includes CCCA Full Classics, American and European classic cars, and many other special interest vehicles. We were able to make it to the setup day again this year, and got many of the cars rolling in. Thank you to Aaron Weiss and all the organizers and volunteers for making this one of the best automotive events in SoCal!

I was drooling on over half of these. These machines from the 50's back to the 20's were traveling works of art. Especially in the 30's. You have one of those you have a million dollar car. Where even the spare tire is an elegant accessory, now it's just a piece of equipment. I go to car shows and I watch the kids they have NO CLUE what amazing gems they are looking at and how much time, money, and love it takes to maintain a car like that. Bravo to these people, maintaining a piece of history.
I was born in 1939 and I love the old cars. They are so classy. The cars today all look with absolutely nothing special about them. Oh, those were the good old days. I remember my uncle had this beautiful white long car but I cannot remember the make, so beautiful.

One thing that's difficult to ignore - no matter what type of classic are in attendance, they're all breathtakingly beautiful. The 30's being the absolute pinnacle of American automotive design & engineering without a doubt. Beautiful presentation!.

Yes you did! 1953 Rometsch 4-Door Taxi based on a VW Beetle. I believe it's one of 28 built and one of 4 known remaining.
In motion, these cars are gorgeous and more attractive than in statics. Their bodies are displayed from different angles.

“Ach du lieber, mein schatz”! What a most wonderful assortment of great cars (& even a tractor!)! But was one proclaimed the big “WINNER ( as in WEINER)“? Some were in most GORGEOUS COLORS!! Which ones could do a “wheelie”? Lou Costabile would have greatly enjoyed this show! Do you guys know him? BUT where was the YUGO??? Now there was a car to be reckoned with! “Awesome” beyond belief!!! “Gesundheit”!!!

These cars are art on wheels. Made of noble materials. Metal, wood and leather. Not like today's crap. And if we see the electrics. . A miserable cell phone on wheels ..

Great video wish some of the make and model were up on the video, some I had no clue. What was the oldest car there.
The oldest vehicle there was a 1909 De Dion Bouton, which appears at 9:19. You can check the description if you want to know some of the makes and models.
After watching the video again and reading the event catalog that they provided at the show, I realized that the oldest car there was a 1905 Queen Model E, which appears at 10:22.
I bet the transmission on the Lamborghini had a real agricultural feel to it.

I have been watching these classics but have yet to see a shot topped 4 cylinder Lancia. I remember 3 in Bombay belonging to the Petits in Bandra, Dubashes of Malabar Hill and one more whose name I cant remember. They were beautiful 7 seaTess.
