During interviews and items it clearly shows how much experience you have with people who are not native english speakers. And are super patience with them, even helping them when they cant come up with a certain word. Without making them feel stupid for not knowing.
Instead of trying to rush them or not even doing an interview, which a lot probably would do. It just adds to the interview, making it feel a bit more personal and casual.

Me too, but I can be satisfied with the new rifle/pistol from Zenith that's being released in 12", 14.5", 16" barrel lengths and in either 5.56 or 300 Blackout, which is roller-delayed blowback.

that exact same story my father told me first and ı was really suprised. me and my father has shot our SAR9 it has over 800+ rounds and it never jammed once but ı guess they got their stuff together after this whole story.

Some people were a bit harder to understand, but most of them still transmitted their passion and knowledge for their products and gave pretty detailed explanations about them and some background to it, which was great.
I sort of felt bad about you revealing the Spelling error in the Hand Gun video, even if i thought the project was completely out there with the Gods. But man you have to have balls and vision to do something like that, so props to that guy.

I agree 100% about those assholes that criticize our European friends who speak English as a 2nd language.
I'm retired from a German automotive company and spent an entire summer there. I personally never got farther than being able to order food or a bier or questioning someone's sexual preference. My German brothers on the other hand all spoke passable English.

I think the thing with CC in the states influneces more on to pistols where in europe pistols are not needed as much so they conzentrate more on sporting and hunting rifles.
Lmao anyone who threatens to sue or complain over that video is a clot. It's embarrassing for the company to put someone public facing in any way to do that job but have 0 idea about the basic functions of the products. It's like having someone interview the washer at a dealership and they don't know how to drive or open the door of a car.

Hi James, any new info on the HK SFP9CC?
NGL As a Turk, I saw the same guy in Kaya's video and just like me many Turks be like said "Man... Just speak Turkish and save us from bother of your bad english.." TRUE, it takes HUUUGE courage to do a job like that and sometimes panic or the pressure would prevent you from doing your job properly but dude.. Sarsılmaz is one of the biggest arms manufacturere of my country and they could have sent a far better person..
It hurts both country's and company's image.
Imissed a lot of the concealed carry pistols in IWA. Other than that I loved the Mossberg MC9SC I honestly wasn't very aware of till then. Great trigger, ergonomics and and safe disassembly.
I was also surprised to find the Grand Power Stribog in 10mm auto.
Disappointing was the fact, that H&K didn't habe the SFP9CC at IWA. After Shot Show they could at least have it in zhe same display.
Great design, but extremely heavy and strange advertising was polish Son of Gun with their futuristic rifle concept in 9mm, .223 and .300blk.
From this video and how trends are going, I fully expect the singularity where everything in the planet from Kalashnikovs to Mossberg shotguns and water hose attachments are going to have AR-10/AR-15 controls.

SAR does have the license to produce HK guns and do make the 416 domestically for Turkish law enforcement and limited miltary application, so it shouldn't be surprising that they would make a 417-type clone. I can't recall but if I am correct that they could make 417s under that license.
Sure, HK should protect their IP but I think the reason they come after Haenal is to protect their schnitzel plate (I wanted to say "rice bowl" but Germans don't eat rice as a staple). Haenal is a company that has a bigger share in the commercial market while HK mostly make their money with military contracts (yeah, of course, with those prices and refusing to make civilian versions of anything; other German firearms companies make ARs for the civilian market). I think Haenal went "oh well" and still strive to do something different.
But back to HK, the G39 does look awesome, so good for HK for making something that is actually different.
The first time I saw the NARP program rifle, my first thought was actually "oh, there is finally an MCX type gun that isn't an MCX." I bet that Beretta is confident in this program because they could probably sell it cheaper than the MCX and anything from HK, getting sales and profit that way even if the Italian military contract falls through somehow. It may not be the next AR160 but for military and LE worldwide that want a piston AR-like gun, this might be good if SIG's, HK, and others' offerings are too pricey.
The NARP is also a bit squarish, which makes it a little different and maybe also easier to machine--this is also why I think they could offer it for less money once the program truly matures.
Other problem is that H&K is owned by german capital, so it would be an internal choice as they want. The Haenel is produced in germany but Haenel is owned by Abu Dhabi-based Caracal International, which in turn is part of the United Arab Emirates state conglomerate EDGE Group, thus seen as import weapon rather than domestic.

I try to speak just a little bit of Spanish at my job because we get a lot of non-English speakers, and I constantly struggle to even get a coherent point across, and I'm always aware of just how awful it likely is, and that's just with usually 1 customer at a time, rarely a handful at once. I'm super envious of anyone who is even remotely bilingual. I worked with a guy who earned his citizenship being a translator in Iraq for Special Forces, he speaks 6 languages fluently!
I know I made a mild crack about one of the guys you interviewed, I didn't intend any insult, I'm not that shallow minded of a person, I'm keenly aware of how difficult it is to try and speak other languages, and have worked with and greatly respect many non native English speakers. Sometimes they say words weird, one of my favorite human beings pronounced the L in salmon (which my own mother did last summer and my whole family ribbed her for it, playfully and without malice) and the B in plumber (and the second B in bomber), he taught me a small amount of Russian, and had a good natured chuckle at my attempts to pronounce some Russian words. I used to always pronounce "subtle" as it's spelled. Even kids trying to pronounce some of the more difficult sounds in words has been something we've had a little laugh at can be cute. My little sister struggled with strawberry and washcloth when she was a toddler, and her son had a hilarious and adorable cadence and emphasis when saying banana when he was little.
I did feel a bit shitty and chagrined when you (indirectly?) chastised in this video, as again I intended no insult, but I do sometimes forget in the moment that some people do in fact feel attacked for their pronunciations. My closest friend is one of the smartest people I know, but says some words weird, and utterly hated being corrected when we were younger, as he felt it was intended as a put down in a mean spirited manner.
I've got a BA in English and I still make mistakes, and boy are my friends relentless when I do! Lol.
Anyway, I don't waste my time being malicious verbally anymore, except in traffic where I'm the only one who hears it. That shit is for high school kids.

I am guilty of calling out someones bad English on your other channel. In my defense I am from the same country the guy is from and worked at the show floor 8 times a year for my old employer. I am just puzzled how they can't find someone who is a bit more prepared to work on camera. That said, I agree with you, it takes a alot of balls to do this ad hoc and I am by no means shitting on them for not getting it right 100% of the time.

About the contest between Haenel and H&K I would say, just my opinion, that more relevant that defending their IP (H&K), and they did well, the major reason for me behind the judicial decision was the political one: H&K is owned by german capital currently inf form of a holding - HK Beteiligungs-GmbH - (defense and law enforcement remained and later they sold to the UAE the Sporting Firearms Division), so it would be an internal choice as they want. The Haenel is produced in Germany but Haenel is owned (entirely or almost entirely) by Abu Dhabi-based Caracal International, which in turn is part of the United Arab Emirates state conglomerate EDGE Group, thus seen as import weapon rather than domestic. Regardless H&K were part of BAE systems till 2002 (reason why was chosen to refurbish the LA85), it was resold and to a Group mostly a German Holding, already mentioned (later, the holding, as said before sold it's Sporting Division, again to an UAE company). As the contract for the G95 fall under Defense and Law Enforcement Division, they kept buying to the Bundeswehr, of which the KSK is part of, domestic guns. Again, it's just my opinion.

English is often not even the second language of Europeans. They learn four or five languages regularly, so no one should be chastising them for not being perfectly fluent. We're fortunate so much of the world learns our language at an understandable level.
