Yes, she was lucky that it was such a good album and era, but they way she looked and sounded was just so crazy to witness. I think that's why I didn't even bother buy the femme fatale album because when I started watching the way she looked and everything for the album promo kind of turned me off before the album release.

She was supposed to be free from the conservatorship after The circus tour and even got mental evaluations saying she didnt need to be under a conservatorship. But the conservatorship was made permanent and at the same time, she fell into depression again. This lead to her being severly medicated and threatened to not be allowed to see her kids if she didnt obey. If her conservators really had her best interest at heart and not just money, they never would have allowed her to do an album and tour in this condition.

She was forced to take a variety of meds she didnt want to take and she knew she was trapped. I can not even begin to imagine how dark this time of her life was. Is it just me or does she not look 29? She looks & sounds like she's mid to late 30s, so about 10 years older than she is (although she does smoke). Makes sense in hindsight, but I don't understand why no one noticed how miserable she looked & sounded.
