That’s a very good way to put it, Cynthia-and even though my hip took the brunt of it, I sprained both wrists, bruised my knee, and felt the ripple effects through out my body. So glad I didn’t break anything, though. Thanks for the prayers, my dear. 💚💚💚

I don't know how long this channel exists because I've only discovered it and watched 2 videos (perfume counters! My favorite thing! And RETRO, my other favorite thing!!) but I'm absolutely thrilled at the utter perfection of it all and the comfort I feel. It's like being a little girl with my mom in NYC again, in the days when life felt both safe and exciting both. And how I love the "old fashioned" perfumes! "Je Reviens" to your channel for certain, again and again! Thank you. I feel as if this were made for me. 🌸🍃🌸🍃🌸🍃
The thing is, I would go mad if buying a perfume took me an hour, but on the other hand, watching this video, I really wish it did, you make it a really pleasant experience, a delight for the senses (sight and hearing).

I have only watched half of this video as I fell asleep midway, but L’air du temps has a special place in my heart. My mother wore it and then I copied her in my late teens/early 20s back in the late 1970s. I loved the floral powdery notes and I keep some vintage talc from the 80s when it smelled divine (pre reformulation) and I occasionally sprinkle it on me just to recall those happy carefree days. 🥰💕

L'air du temps literally means "air of the times", meaning the current fashion. Funny really given it's now really a rather old-fashioned perfume, though still a great one.
I do enjoy the research a lot, but my absolute favorite part of making ASMR videos is the set design. I’ve always been fascinated with details-and I’ve been inspired not only by my memories but so many excellent period TV shows and movies: Mad Men, Lessons in Chemistry, The Queen’s Gambit, Don’t Worry Darling, The Astronaut Wives Club, and on and on.

I got jarred out of the story right at the beginning when you asked what our favourite perfume was, though. 😅 I have an Elizabeth Arden Bamboo eau de toilette and I looooove it. Love the green freshness of it; it's a great mood lifter, especially now in winter. But it's a 21st century one. 😂
