Great video mate, bike sounds amazing. Brought mine new and before it left the dealer, I put stage one on it. Went with the short shots, love the traditional style look it gives. Keep it shiny side up.
so i chose to go with the fatbob over the street bob but i figured that this would give me an idea of what it would sound like for mine. happy to say i came for the review and stayed for the great content. keep it up for sure!!
Everything you say is true. Performing a stage one on a Harley enables the bike to breath easier. As well as expell exhaust better as well. You've got the itch brother. You understand Harley. It's allure. And you'll never be the same ! Cheers from the USA.
Had my backend step out exiting a roundabout on my Dyna Street Bob the other day, got it back in though. First thought was a slight misquote of Richard Hammond " I am a riding god", rapidly followed by " better check my underwear when I get home". lol
I do that on purpose, give er some throttle when you are about half way straightened out through a turn and let it spin. So fun. Only at sub 30 mph for safety haha
New subscriber, sharp presentation on all levels. I live out in farm country in the State of Maryland and plan on purchasing an HD StreetBob end of summer$$$$$.
AdrianVino do you will need some new exhaust gaskets and a new breather...Screaming Eagle heavy breather or extreme breather or hi flow....and a tuner. I have the DynoJet power vision. It’s expensive but the auto tune is super easy! Or the V&H FP3 is pretty good 👌
So i got it done at HD but its easy enough...you just need a good mapper. I use and highly recommend the Dyno Jet Power Vision! The auto tune is great for these pipes! HD do offer the warranty though if you get them, to do it.
Great video love the new intro sound track. Totally different bike now with stage one tuning, one question to ask you have you noticed a difference in fuel consumption. I would seriously consider upgrading your shocks on your next upgrade list if you have one or considering what to do next. Avon venom tyres will give you more grip. Proformance mono shock will give more stability on your rear wheel. Just think you have a stage one image what it be like with stage four. You might need to super glue your camera to the crash helmet. Harley Davidson crazy fun love them.
Cheers the track is from a 7inch single my band did a few years ago for a record distributer a couple of years ago, the end track is off our new album! The fuel consumption is worse AHHH I meant to say that in my vlog! ! Not sure by how much yet but i've noticed it going down quicker, but I am hammering it a lot more now? I'm sure its both my heavy hand on the right grip and the Stage 1. My next upgrade other than the seat (on its way) is a torque cam upgrade (Stage 2). I'd like to get a 117 (Stage 4) in there but i cant afford that at this moment in time. The suspension will be a soon after upgrade for sure! As soon as the tires are worn they are getting a needed upgrade. I dont trust them in the wet one bit. HD's are soooo much fun! Stay safe out there:D
Howzit bud, I've had the TBR fitted and man oh man they are amazing. Do you find they get MUCH hotter? I had Short Shots and I feel alot more heat on me. Your experience?
Shawn Atwell haha good man🤘 Umm...not much hotter? I think the V&H heat shield might cover more of the pipe but I haven’t really noticed a huge difference in heat? They are great exhausts though eh! You just want to open them up all the time to hear that bark! Definitely a performance exhaust 👌 Interesting to hear your opinion on the differences between the two?👍
StreetBobberVlogger Totally agree, these TBR pipes are the bomb. Absolutely love the sound and power. Funny though it's quieter for me on the bike compared to the Short Shots because they are longer I guess. HD have my bike as we speak because I'm getting the ECM P0151 code. They have changed the Screaming eagle super tuner for the Vance and Hines FP3. Hoping that will solve the problems. Appreciate your vids, easy listening!
No not really, i mean they are loud obviously but im not deaf yet ;) They increase the power and torque a lot though much more than say short shots, which are crazy loud!
Joe Scheitlin they are worth it for sure! I got the dealer to install and tune, but I bought a Dyno Jet Power Vision for them to tune it with. Runs like a dream!
Nice. Why this TBR? What I mean is, why this versus other TBR? I like the exhaust system by them without carbon tip...black. Got a breather and maybe Vance fuelpak 3. Am I missing anything?
Keith Cox hey Keith! I got my dealer to purchase them straight from TBR website 👌 just have to remember you are going to have to pay 20% customs tax on anything from the US👍
So I just bought my TBR 2-1 exhaust. Last minute I decided to go with the Gen 2 megaphone, instead of the comp. I felt like I might get a little bit more growl out of the Gen 2. Now I am second guessing myself! I will find out once this snowstorm rolls through this weekend. Any thoughts on the differences between the two?
Jonathan Osborn yeah I think the megaphone will be louder for sure. Gonna be the same in performance. One of the reasons I went with the comp was that it would be quieter when idling. You will probably notice that more. Trust me either one is loud and sounds great. The megaphone, hence the name, will be just that little be more “ear plugs needed” sort of pipes haha enjoy 🤘🤘
I got mine through HD but the two brothers website is your best bet www.twobros.com/collections/cruiser-exhaust/products/harley-davidson-softail-comp-s-exhausts-2018
StreetBobberVlogger thanks mate, what fuel mapper did you use please? I have an FP3 but I’m hearing mixed reviews especially issues with the FP3 and my planned Stage 2
Jimmy Mature Jimmy Mature my plan is for Stage 2 as well! I use The DynoJet Power Vision. Auto tune works a treat! Yeah the FP3 is ok as long as you have all V&H components. It’s cheaper but there is a reason for that lol. I’d recommend the DynoJet any day. It’s what my HD dealer uses for all their mapping. It’s pretty straight forward to use as well 👌 ua-cam.com/video/y-x9NcQ5TWc/v-deo.html
Sound Amazing!!! And your are right, the audio doesn’t do these pipes justice. I would definitely want these on my 19 street bob but it’s little risky though living in California and all the stupid laws we have here. Did you have to do any mods to the brake controls?
Christopher DAnza no mods to the breaks, although will be upgrading the breaks at some point as they are pretty rubbish! Man that sucks about the laws over there. The good thing is the TBR’s are fairly quiet while idling, it’s only when you open her up that they bark like a rabid dog 🤘🤘🤘. Much quieter than short shocks, although I know you can get quiet baffles for the V&H?
Thanks for the reply!! Yea the noise isn’t too much of a worry, police in California don’t give Harley’s too much trouble as long as you aren’t revving the engine super hard and being obnoxious. The big issue is with the warranty and if you put a non EPA compliant exhaust it voids the powertrain warranty. I’ve got a pair of Rinehart Slip Ons ordered, so I can put the stock ones on real quick if needed, but I just love the look and sound of the TBR 2-1 exhaust. I’m sure at some point I’ll say F**k it and get the TBR, warranty be damned! Love the channel keep the videos coming! Stay safe out there!!
Your ears ring and you credit that. Lol. FYI, Tinnitus isnt curable. I live with a high tinnitus in my left ear to the extent that I hear it 24/7... I am still getting myself a Softail fat bob but I need more muffled sound. But I am glad to hear that the performance improved. Thanks for the review.
Christian Ademius yeah I unfortunately suffer from tinnitus too. Been in a touring band for 10 years now and stupidly never wear ear protection. It’s a horrible thing to have. Night time is worse for me. It’s sounds like you have it worse than me though. I’m half death so the louder the better lol! I gotta say the pipes do get a bit tiresome on long hiway trips but they are worth it for sure 🤘 Enjoy your fat bob they are a fun and good looking bike 👌
Wiseman II haha no no if you scroll through to 7:40 I mention it’s a Screaming Eagle Hi-Flo with the stock cap put back on. Mapped it with a DynoJet power vision 👌 It’s much cheap than say a Heavy Breather. With the TBR the expensive breathers are more for show give or take a horse power.
I remember the mechanics said if you do that (change air cleaner but can still put on the stock cover), then the air flow would not make that much difference than the stock air cleaner set
Wiseman II that’s some what true but the rear of the cover is completely open, allowing plenty of air in. It feels better so I’d say it’s breathing easier now 👌
Wiseman II well all I can say is the bikes performance has improved considerably with the changes I’ve made. Obviously a more open breather will allow more air in but what I’m trying to say is, with these pipes the amount is not worth the extra £300 for 2 or 3 more horse power. Trust me if HD could have sold me a more expensive breather they would have. My mechanic told me not to waste my money unless I’m going for the look of a curtain breather? Anyway the stock cover doesn’t cover it completely like the original, I can’t see how it makes much difference with out it on or with it on? There is a good 2cm gap all the way around the filter which I recon is plenty of room for air to get in quick enough to enhance performance?
AdrianVino fp3 will be fine, but you will have to find a map that works so tuning will take longer. But it’s what you can afford at the end of the day 👌🤘
Hi, I'm french guy and I hope a future Harley's owner. Just a question, I hate the stock handlebar, and your's looks fine. Can you tell me the caracteristics of your handlebar? Thank's
Hi there! I have 8 inch Bung King risers and DragSpecialties Super Bars. The bars have a 3.5 inch rise and a 5.75 inch pull back. Heres a link to my video on them ua-cam.com/video/v5APeY7d5eY/v-deo.html
AdrianVino it’s a new breather “screamin Eagle hi flow” with the stock breather cover. I’ve changed it now to an extreme flow as I have the Stage 2 now. But the set up I had for a stage one is just fine. Yes you n Ed s new breather though else you won’t get enough air in the pipes...might as well have slip ons
gary savage 😂😂😂 I dunno if it’s his actual shirt haha but I know I have the same boots as him, except mine are black. Maybe I should paint my bike gold 🤘😬🤘
RaceWithTime prettty good! As long as you don’t open her up the noise levels are pretty manageable. But that said, 3 hours on the highway starts to drive you mad a little and earplugs might be worth a purchase for those trips 🤘👍
@@StreetBobberVlogger Thanks for the reply. I just bought a Sport Glide and it definitely needs an exhaust but I don't want to ruin the bike with something that rattles my head every time I ride it.
Ron Wissinger yep there is nothing better than sitting on the bike and hearing that noise! Unfortunately that does come at a price 😔 Slip ons are a cheaper option though.
Great video mate, bike sounds amazing. Brought mine new and before it left the dealer, I put stage one on it. Went with the short shots, love the traditional style look it gives. Keep it shiny side up.
lukike84 yeah it was a toss up between the shortys and the TBR. Both sound and look great! 🍳
Robes London I was told by HD that as long as they do all thee work it’s all covered. Hope that helps? 👌
Robes London Here in Australia, all stages are covered, as long as it's through a Harley dealer and using certain brand parts.
so i chose to go with the fatbob over the street bob but i figured that this would give me an idea of what it would sound like for mine. happy to say i came for the review and stayed for the great content. keep it up for sure!!
thank you so much! glad to help! the tbr exhausts are great, you wont be disappointed!

Richard Enstad I most definitely have the itch lol 🤘😝🤘
Love the intro! Nice sound and the riding position look very comfy. Love the vids.. keep up the great work! Be safe out there.
QU13TM4N cheers buddy! The intro needed updating for sure 🤘😎🤘

6:37. That's living man !
Richard Enstad sure is 😎
Thx for the video.
Next week stage 1 for me too on my 2019 fxbb 107.
Same exhaust and filter.
Very curious for the result. 👊🏻
I think I’m sold. Thanks for the review. It really helped.. Now somebody needs to make a better fitting back fender!!!!
No problem! Glad i could help!
What ALL should I order for this exhaust to fit my bike? The actual exhaust AND what else ?
AdrianVino do you will need some new exhaust gaskets and a new breather...Screaming Eagle heavy breather or extreme breather or hi flow....and a tuner. I have the DynoJet power vision. It’s expensive but the auto tune is super easy! Or the V&H FP3 is pretty good 👌

Beautiful bike!!! I have a FXBB as well and was wondering what brand/model those passenger pegs are?
Fred G they are Bung King Crash bars, can be used as passenger pegs tho!
She’s a proper Harley now 😉👍 What riding shirt are you wearing? I’ve just bought the Merlin Axe.
Crash Drum School thanks buddy! Yes mine is the Merlin Axe. It’s very warm, a bit too warm for summer, but great protection. 🤘😝🤘

I like the looks of the 2 brothers 2 in 1 Gen 2.
Some people say these are way too loud.
Is it obnoxiously and painfully loud ?

hello¡¡¡ I have a question. Have you noticed a lot of difference in fuel consumption?¿?
Hi there! Yes its worse! Ive been hammering the bike much more but it has made a noticeble difference.
I just noticed you kept your breather. I was told you needed a new breather to go along with your new pipes and tuner. 🤔

Dyno Jet Power Vision...Its ace!
