Man this game was so much fun until the VMP arrived and permanently destroyed the meta along with the lootbox fiasco further making it worse than it already was at the beginning. Blackout was such a treat to play aswell man I miss grapplehooks and slide jumping everywhere 😭
Marlton and Stuhlinger also ruined the meta in Blackout, since both characters have the afterburner perk in Heavy Metal Heroes for some reason. Outrider also has blast suppressor.
@Agent_Z3ro Alot of people write off BO4 as a generic BO3 lite hero shooter and garbage cuz they played it once, but the people who actually played the game along its yearly life cycle understand the flaws and why the game died and ended up as it did.
@@redactedgamersgd1788 same. Cold War was somehow better than the latest two releases they brought out and was more of the older style which I honestly liked from a retrospective POV
theres always somthing about seeing these maps empty, to see places that were known for being hectic and once had more people that any one of us can really grasp, to see them so dead, makes me realize i took it for granted, and will continue to do so
I think it's fitting that the last two pre-modern call of dutys are callbacks to the classics. Ww2 was to pre-4:modern warfare, and bo4 was to post-4: modern warfare to ghosts.

What a shame most people probably won’t see half of these animations due to the loot boxes… I guess at least they gave guaranteed dupe free boxes at the end of its lifecycle unlike BO3…
here is my genuine guess, there are holes in the drum, the inside seems to have a spinning mechanism so maybe it flings out pelets at a realy high velocity???
If this game is supposed be 20 years before BO3, we should've seen wayy more than 3 BO3 weapons; like half the lineup shouldve been just that since majority of the guns in BO3 were put in production around the time BO4 takes place
@redactedgamersgd1788 every COD between 2007 and 2014 reused some guns from the prior title and it wasnt dlc, but base weapons. Like the MP7 in MW3 and BO2, or the LSAT in BO2 and Ghosts, or the AUG in MW2 and BO1. That's what I'm getting at.
I don’t think a lot of the BO3 weapons were invented during the time of BO4. In the campaign safe house on the monitor you can see when the guns were made I think a lot were invented post 2050 and I’m pretty sure this is set in 2045
You forgot another reason why they scrapped it. According to the devs at Treyarch, Career Mode (which would have been the campaign initially) just wasn't very fun. It had many technical issues, timing issues, and negative feedback from the playtesters, deeming it too repetitive. This leads to the point where BO4 was originally going to include a more traditional campaign, utilizing the assets left over from Career Mode. However, since the game was less than a year away from release, Treyarch had to pivot once again and put their attention to Multiplayer and Zombies, and the Career Mode assets were reused for Blackout instead.
I thought the game was pretty fun when it there was the no abilities mode and it was basically like old school COD. But when I saw that the developers were adding black ops 2 and 3 weapons, I knew the game was done. It basically became recycled ops 4 and the fact the guns were locked behind lootboxes gave me even more of a reason to leave.
I hate the design of the first bolt action sniper being featured. The grooves the bolt is suppose to travel on are convoluted and ridiculous. Why isn't it just a simple "up and pull" motion, straight pull or even a manual operated bolt? This touge corner drifting design is just pure bad design. Not to mention it being left handed which led to a terrible and ruined rendition of the NTW 20 in Cold War.
Tactical and aggresive = good Is pretty much what people had in mind whenever they think about gun reloads. I much prefer the arcadey style reload because im already burnout with them mw19 reloads
@@bingolos9063 Honestly Tactical animations are good, it's just that the new MW style tactical has been getting stale af. The methodical and slow animations however haven't been done more but they are way better than aggressive tacticool ones

Feels good not being blinded by the superiority of the Micro 9mm and the VMP

BOIII was better and actually had a campaign
@@austinwhite3132 The Campaign sucked
They’re honestly pretty decent. The AK reload in specific is really nice and flowy. Sometimes i miss this older style of earlier CODs.
tbh i always loved Treyarch's take on CoD, taking out realism for cool styles and zombies

Great video! Would love to see a BO3 reload compilation 🔥
I can only do one for the normal weapons, I don't have all of the DLC guns and the M14 is no longer acquirable
I'd be ok with that! Would also be cool to see all the Black Ops 1 and 2 weapons as well!
@@venommagnusyou could use the boiii client. There's some underground versions. There might also be stuff on the boiii workshop

They did. The store was drastically updated at one point and it's now much easier to get DLC weapons in this game
Satifying soud
i know im late but do call of duty black ops cold war all reloads (since pretty much nobody has a updated version with all extended/fast mag reloads)

I would've played this one more if it weren't for them bringing back the annoying Specialists.

You need to see how ridiculous the sound design is in bo2
