the player evaluations on this channel are horrendous. bro spent like 5 minutes on the guy flying up draft boards the most acting like he’s not just following the media narrative. i wish there were more people able to give actual insight and stand on their opinions throughout the process.
I think it's funny that people are so high on Clingan and so low on Edey, who drastically outplayed everyone on UConn, including Clingan, and it wasn't even close, he just had no help. LMFAO. Even when you account for this being Edey's senior season and Clingan's sophomore - Edey's sophomore stats were better than Clingan's were this year. I'm not saying Edey should go #1, but just think it's crazy how people think Clingan is worth the number one pick, but not Edey. How to really throw chaos into this draft is taking Edey number 1.

Uconn shut him down after the first ten minutes of the half I'd say. Edey is awesome but how will he be in a scaled down role? I think he'll be a solid player but Clingans player type is more valuable to the league.

But that's the point of the chaos draft right? In real draft, if Risacher somehow falls to the Spurs, I don't think they hesitate at all to pick him

You surprised me with the Holland selection! I think you got it right! :)
I might be wrong, but, I don't think Portland will be keeping Simons. He might be getting in the way of Scoot's and Sharpe's development regarding minutes. If they play together, then, Sharpe has to slide to small forward at times, and Scoot has to play off-ball which wasn't beneficial for him this past year, in my opinion. Also, Simon's style of play is in contrast with his poinding the air out of the ball, ISO game, it's not a match/fit. As a carryover protege of Lillard, that ship has sailed on that style of play with no defense. Look for him to eventually end up somewhere like Orlando in a trade.
Get real, why do the knicks need another guard. Look at the board. Even though your draft isn't all that. You claim to be a fan, and you're just like these silly mock trades. Try drafting for needs instead of who you like. Stop wasting picks without questioning whether they have a shot with Thibs. Go bigger.
This was a chaos mock. Wasn't the picks we'd make or the picks we think the teams will make. Just throwing in some curveballs because the draft never goes chalk. Really appreciate you tuning in though!
If available at 4, the Spurs will draft Zaccharie Risacher.
Then they take Stephon Castle or Devin Carter at 8, not Matas Buzelis.
Topic could miss the entire 2024-25 season because of his knees.
Would be shocked if castle is there at 8 at this point.

You all lost me...knowledgeable fan of Spurs for 35 years with Pop relationships .Feels like you are doing things just to create discussion with no basis on reality, ie does not fit with the Spurs culture, past issues with spurs pics etc. Yes, I know it is the chaos draft, but not the "on crack draft" Sorry, they would never "at 4" go for a player that will may not play this year or at least for several months. Not when there are needs, even Chos needs at other positions. Totally disregarding developing Wemby now.....just not reality....at 8 maybe, but never now....

Topic, who probably won’t play next season, at 4 to a team that needs help now, doesn’t play D, doesn’t spread the floor, doesn’t fit the Spurs non-heliocentric playing style, doesn’t make a lot of sense. Not really at 8 either. It’s the same problem a lot of these draft guys have, they sort of pre-decide who they think are part of a core and don’t take into account the rest of the roster or playing style.
They would take Risacher, if he were available at 4

Projections in this draft are going to turn out pretty inaccurate. We don't know exactly in what way, but it's not crazy to divert from consensus.
