Nice work to all your haters this man bought his own equipment made his own company yes there is lots of ways to do each job but you have to remember the customer has a budget a way they want it to look etc. 30 years as a heavy equipment operator doing just about everything that can be done with many types of equipment I wish I would have took the leap and bought my own equipment but just didn’t do it. So to you Sir keep on keeping on and enjoy
I live N of Lansing MI. 1 wk rental of a T650 Bobcat with a 6ft Blue Diamond rotary cutter, handled 6" material, cost me $1,808 plus offroad diesel fuel,oh and insurance from rental, just incase. 1 wk = 40 hrs equipment time. So there's your easy math. 40 hardwooded acres I pushed back the wood line off my house 75 feet. Put in multiple trails, cleared my powerline right of way, cleared around the polebarn and garage. Put in multiple food plots, deer within 10 yds of the house, i know poor me,lol. Be safe in the heat.
For some mulchers yes, I know Denis Cimaf makes several different types of teeth for their drum heads. For this cutter there is just one type of blade.
For grass you'll want a sharp blade. If you are cutting brush you want to grind a nice bevel for lift back leave a blunt edge. The blunt edge fractures the stump to speed up rot and less damage to pneumatic tires. At least that's what grandpa taught me.
I just ordered the new XC8T for my JD 333G. Do you find that your mower will drag in the grass more with your mulching teeth? Talking with MTL they recommend removing the Mulching teeth if mowing weeds and grasses. Your thoughts?
I know their's not much you can do in a brush cutting video to make people laugh, but.... I giggled like a little kid every time i saw a puff of dust come out from under the cutter every time you decapitated a Fire Ant mound. Sadly, I know that puff well down here in Florida, I'm sure you have them as bad up there. The other thing, do you think GoPro would honor their warranty if you just nicked the camera a little? Is their even such a thing as a "little nick" with that cutter? Nice touch with the opening shot!
Man, it's really too bad that cutter doesn't have a back flap or something you can lock open when you're just doing a bunch of bulk cutting like this to help clear the mulched up junk!

Love what you find when you bush hog. You found that person's piece of missing sheet metal roofing.
Great job, Devan. 👏👏
As always, love the video and the music. After the last few jungles you had, this one was a piece of cake. Thanks for the hard work.
Thanks for watching!

This is for anyone who argues/protests hiring the job out. People in my area don't have anyone doing this.
Love watching this stuff. Much easier than the last video. Great job ‼️💯👍🏾🇺🇸
Thanks 👍
Great job you never know what you’re going to find in the tall grass Best wishes from the UK
Thanks 👍
@@idigit4967 Is there away to send you a pm?
Great job!
Every fire ant mound you hit puts out that big puff of dust. Those were some big mounds.
Love the music in this one
Awesome, thanks for watching!
Love the speed up videos....
Cool video can't wait to next one
Hard worker joyful to watch
Great job.. Ever think about getting any help. You should have two of them but I understand.
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Now that's what that is made for
Not jungle with trees
And thank you for good music
Not the insane crap young ppl nowadays call " music "
I think the dust cloud followed u a few times lol. I have ground shark. What are you using? Looks good
MTL XCT
G'day mate looks good now
Something had a narrow escape at 18:39 - a small shape darted from in front of the cutter, and went off to the right...
Is there Alot of Ant hills?? Eats anything that you let it???
Love it
Do you put the skid steer arms in float while cutting? I have a Erskine cutter . I was just wondering if that would work or not.
No unfortunately that doesn't work
Are their different types of blades that won’t dull as easily and can handle what ever?

Steel meets iron wood or hard oak or large rocks, blade doesn't exist that won't chip, dull or break... let's get NASA on the job.

They probably do but I've never removed them to see the difference.

Do you the skid steer Bush hog better then the tractor
That opening video of your mower up close deserves to be in chainsaw massacre film :) Best wishes
LOL
👍👍
How thoroughly do you have to survey the property for hidden hard objects before you start up?
Depends on if I can walk though the area in question. Many times I can't because of how thick it is.
Where are you located at?
SC

Yeah that would be super nice
👍👍😀😰🍁
why did you film it so far at the beginning
So I could try to get the whole field in the shot
It looked like you were killing someone fire ant mounds. I hate those stinging biting son of a guns.
I hate them too LOL
Your whistling background music made me reach for my assault rifle
😬
invest in a trypod
I do need a better tripod.
