    Nice work to all your haters this man bought his own equipment made his own company yes there is lots of ways to do each job but you have to remember the customer has a budget a way they want it to look etc. 30 years as a heavy equipment operator doing just about everything that can be done with many types of equipment I wish I would have took the leap and bought my own equipment but just didn’t do it. So to you Sir keep on keeping on and enjoy

    Love what you find when you bush hog. You found that person's piece of missing sheet metal roofing.

    As always, love the video and the music. After the last few jungles you had, this one was a piece of cake. Thanks for the hard work.

    I live N of Lansing MI. 1 wk rental of a T650 Bobcat with a 6ft Blue Diamond rotary cutter,handled 6" material, cost me $1,808 plus offroad diesel fuel,oh and insurance from rental, just incase. 1 wk = 40 hrs equipment time. So there's your easy math.
    40 hardwooded acres I pushed back the wood line off my house 75 feet. Put in multiple trails,cleared my powerline right of way, cleared around the polebarn and garage. Put in multiple food plots, deer within 10 yds of the house, i know poor me,lol.
    Be safe in the heat.

      This is for anyone who argues/protests hiring the job out. People in my area don't have anyone doing this.

    Every fire ant mound you hit puts out that big puff of dust. Those were some big mounds.

    Something had a narrow escape at 18:39 - a small shape darted from in front of the cutter, and went off to the right...

    Do you put the skid steer arms in float while cutting? I have a Erskine cutter . I was just wondering if that would work or not.

      No unfortunately that doesn't work

    Are their different types of blades that won’t dull as easily and can handle what ever?

    • @idigit4967
      @idigit4967  4 роки тому +1

      For some mulchers yes, I know Denis Cimaf makes several different types of teeth for their drum heads. For this cutter there is just one type of blade.

    • @TheGoodguy68
      @TheGoodguy68 4 роки тому

      For grass you'll want a sharp blade. If you are cutting brush you want to grind a nice bevel for lift back leave a blunt edge. The blunt edge fractures the stump to speed up rot and less damage to pneumatic tires.
      At least that's what grandpa taught me.

      Steel meets iron wood or hard oak or large rocks, blade doesn't exist that won't chip, dull or break... let's get NASA on the job.

    I just ordered the new XC8T for my JD 333G. Do you find that your mower will drag in the grass more with your mulching teeth? Talking with MTL they recommend removing the Mulching teeth if mowing weeds and grasses. Your thoughts?

    • @idigit4967
      @idigit4967  4 роки тому +1

      They probably do but I've never removed them to see the difference.

    I know their's not much you can do in a brush cutting video to make people laugh, but.... I giggled like a little kid every time i saw a puff of dust come out from under the cutter every time you decapitated a Fire Ant mound. Sadly, I know that puff well down here in Florida, I'm sure you have them as bad up there. The other thing, do you think GoPro would honor their warranty if you just nicked the camera a little? Is their even such a thing as a "little nick" with that cutter? Nice touch with the opening shot!

      Depends on if I can walk though the area in question. Many times I can't because of how thick it is.

    Man, it's really too bad that cutter doesn't have a back flap or something you can lock open when you're just doing a bunch of bulk cutting like this to help clear the mulched up junk!
