A+ tone!
Nice demo man and great looking guitar.
Thanks!
I have those p-ups on a project guitar, best pickups for 20 bucks, nuff' said
That's great. I'd like to buy them, could you tell me if they cancel noise and hum?
You know, pickups I have are very noisy.
They actually do! Pretty quiet and a sweet balance between tone richness and sustain, i dig these
Hi. Nice demo.
I would build same spec strat for heavy music. How the pinecaster sound with overdrive /distortion?
Hey. Sorry for the late reply. It sounds cool. It is not the most resonant and dynamic guitar ever and tends to feel a bit "lazy" but the interesting thing is that does not sound dull either. Not at all. It really does have kind of it's own sound. It's not just me saying, my band-mates said the same ting. It is not a hollow guitar by any means, bit it does sound hollow-ish. I'm guessing it's because the pickups are not that beefy sounding and it has that pick-guard and the routing underneath which acts as a small resonator box. Overall it is kind of strong on the mid frequencies. Lower mids to be exact. Also, the bottom end is not too present. That's probably why it kind of has it's own sound. You would expect that the low end comes with the low mids, but in this case it doesn't.
Looks and sounds great. Which hardtail mount have you used here? I’m going to build a similar setup but with a tele body..
Sorry for the late reply. It's a standard Fender hard-tail strat bridge. You can find it in any guitar store.
Blistering my sun
Can you sing songs into them? Cause I got a neck pickup you can talk into so I wanna try this.
Absolutely no finish on that body? How's it holding up?
It was finished up with some kind of oil, but I sanded it down. It (the guitar) doesn't see much action because of my main guitar (tele), so it's just fine. I don't know how it would hold up with active use :)
i have a mahogany strat copy with no finish other than a tung oil coating. i play the tar out of it and it gets filthy so i sand the filth off of it every now and then.
sonseira 👍👍👍
where did you buy git. body from ???
Sorry for the late answer. I haven't been around UA-cam much. It's a weird and cool story. Actually I got the body as a present from one of the luthiers in my country. It was his first (or one of the first) projects that he did. And he made an ad which said "I am giving away a pine stratocaster body." I contacted him, he liked what I had to say and he sent it to me for free. I still cannot thank him enough.
His name is Srdjan Solaja and he still hand makes most wonderful guitars :)
@@sandrasolaja9234 Does Sandra have contact info ?
@@jamesbarnett726 yes she does, but better yet she also has srdjan's contact info if you are looking for a handmade guitar ) you can find him on fb Solaja Srdjan from Valjevo, Serbia. All best! S
@@sandrasolaja9234 Thanks for info !!!!
What kind of pots do you have bro?
CTS 500k :)
Can you play clean?
The pickups are on their way out and the guitar has been taken apart (upgrades all around). Sorry. This is the last recording of this guitar with these pickups. Hope it helps a little bit. It's the clean neck position mostly with some percussive / funk strumming. Some distorted stuff also.

@@calicdusanHey Would You Happen To Still Have The Pickups And Would You Sell The Pair? Been Looking For A Neck Version Of The Bh-20 They’re Out Of Stock At The Moment
@JerryZyno Hey. I still haven't gotten around to rebuilding the guitar so I put it together again. So... Even though I will sell them sometime, not yet, sorry. I am from Serbia. I'm not even sure how I would sell them to you :D Anyway, I payed for them around 35$ (I think) on eBay brand new like 10 years ago. These are decent, cheap pickups... Nothing special about them. I figure you can do better locally for the same amount of money with some second hand Epiphone humbuckers or something similar. Anyway, if you REALLY want them, let's keep in touch. We can figure out the logistics when I rebuild the guitar. Pop me an email calicdu@gmail.com
