Also, they are businesses that are subjected to regular business risks, such as a mine collapse or flood, labor strikes, government regulations / taxes, operating cost inflation and poor management. Lots of risks associated with investing in mining companies.

Getting away from Gold - With the sanctions on Russia and the interruption of supply from Ukraine the world has lost access to the largest supply on several on the minerals required for the green revolution - Look for miners with large reserves of Copper, Nickle and Zinc as we need to double the amount available while losing the largest suppliers
