7 Hour Roadtrip with 1 Year Old Twins

Taking 1 year old twins on a 7 hour roadtrip on an electric car to Idaho! One of the longest roadtrips we've taken with the twins. This is our third time driving to Idaho since they were born and this wasn't the worst one yet!
First one was when they were 4 months old and that one was probably the easiest one since they pretty much slept the whole time and were on a strict eating schedule. Everything was pretty predictable and not too hard.
The second time we went, they were 13 months and that was the worst roadtrip ever!!!! We drove out at night so that they'd sleep through it but it backfired so bad! They woke up every 15-20 minutes and we'd stop to rock them in their carseats until they'd fall back asleep and then repeat again. Same thing happened on the way back.
This third time was probably the simplest one so far. They both slept the whole way there. Kane only woke up around 2:30 am when we were already headed to the hotel and was crying so it was the perfect time to stop and all rest comfortably. On the way back home though, they weren't sleeping like they would at night so we stopped about every 1.5-2 hours for them to stretch, change diapers, and meanwhile charge the car. It was a fun trip even with all of the stops we made. So many memories!
