PLEASE MORE TAME IMPALA His first two albums ‘Innerspeaker’ and ‘Lonerism’ are very 60s and 70s inspired psychedelic rock. While the next two “Currents’ and ‘The Slow Rush’ take that influence and really morphs it into something more electronic and modern. Kevin Parker is an incredibly talented musician, songwriter, and producer. Definitely recommend you listen to the rest of Currents and Lonerism.
Tame Impala is very very awesome. So glad you're getting to him. Trying to place Tame Impala's sound I imagined if George Harrison had been born in 1990 and made music today instead of the 60's and 70s.
For me its his production. I really enjoy his ethereal voice, hir lyrics are at least better than most “pop” so no complaints there. But sonically, dudes a genius. Truly.
Others have mentioned the album 'Lonerism' - the obvious track to listen to from that is 'Elephant' - has a very cool glam meets psychedelia feel (and was my introduction to Tame Impala). Another band who operate in the modern psychedelia space are Temples - try 'Mesmerise' from the album 'Sun Structures' as a starting point.
I agree with the other comments, Innerspeaker and Lonerism are really amazing and the albums that got me into Tame Impala. Those albums sound to me like a combination of Pink Floys and the Beatles, sort of!
I'm curious on how are you able to put music in your video without copywrite issues, I like music and I was thiking on doing analysis on it but I'm affraid of the youtube copywrite hammer

Some of the best sonic ear candy of the last few decades. This song and album are a masterpiece. A new form of psychedelia was born in this album.
Yessss Syed, can’t believe you’re reviewing something pretty recent. Tame Impala are excellent, thanks.

The owner of my favorite taproom bought this on vinyl when it came out. Instant favorite. Beautiful psychedelia and human condition lyrics.
i saw tame about 10 years ago when i visited my brother in Sydney au,
it was a great gig
Tame had me at "The Less I Know the Better". Thanks for the info. Didn't know it was a single artist w/helpers.
Shit! That was super cool!
I've never heard of this artist. Thanks, Syed. Some new sounds (be great in the motor)
”I can hear an alarm, must be morning”
And the synth ”beeping” fades in…

Cool effect as you mentioned. Like you're the one singing while roaming around in and out of the room where the music is being played.
Syed, your comment at about 8:37kind of captures my feeling about this song.

Endors Toi is another song that would be really cool to get a review as well.
You should also check out more tame Impala, opeth, porcupine tree, etc 😊
I think you should listen to God Speed You Black Emporer
Not related…but I feel you really are missing out if you don’t hear Jeff Buckley “lover, you should’ve come over”🥹🥹🥹
Must listen. One of the greatest songs of all time
You should do some tracks from "lonerism" they are a little less pop oriented and more neo psychedelia
is that the great seal of alchemy/philosopher's stone symbol i see in the back? :D

Did you purposely make the music louder when you were talking about guitar melodies?
Not my cup-o-tea, but thanks so much for introducing me to something made this century 😅
