"A BEAUTIFUL, BRUTAL ECO-HORROR FROM DOWN UNDER" - Paul Lê, Bloody Disgusting
Somewhere in the Australian Outback, there is a creature that can rip a man in half and destroy a house in seconds: Razorback, a giant freak of nature that's nine-hundred pounds of tusk and muscle which terrorizes an isolated community as violent and primitive as itself. This astonishing debut from director Russell Mulcahy (Highlander) is a ferociously entertaining, adrenaline-pumping thriller that was beautifully shot by Academy Award®-winning* director of photography Dean Semler (The Road Warrior) and imbued with stunning special make-up effects by Bob McCarron (The Matrix). Razorback is an Ozploitation classic that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

I've also just found out that the young blonde girl who also starred in Mad Max 2, sadly passed away in 2001 aged only 37, from adrenal cancer. 😢
Yeah I thought it was her very pretty
RIP ❤
with a sinister background about poaching and human wickeness, this savage classic of the australian cinema, is a truly unforgettable experience full of terror and suspense, this is the stuff what nightmares are made of.
Best killer pig film ever!
If you think you like this movie I recommend that you checkout that 2002 horror movie called Sabertooth.
Oh yeah you think that's the best watch motel hell (1980)
@@turntablesgaming2016 no I like that one too but as far as Killer pigs killing people, this is it
I ordered it from Amazon a few days ago & it arrived today. I've not seen this film in years!
The director did a good job of capturing the Steven Spielberg look.
Yeah and that was by accident, because the mechanical shark kept breaking down luckily for Spielberg because that film would of been totally crap, that's why reading a book is more powerful than a film because you visualise differently
Australian Jaws!
If you think you like this movie you definitely need to checkout this other obscure underrated horror flick from 2002 called Sabertooth.
It's about a genetically cloned Sabertooth tiger that terrorizes the campers in the woods and eats them up
@@jeahavvalentin980 I've seen it, it's actually on UA-cam if you just type up the film and year.
Grew up in outback NSW and had my fair share of close encounters with feral pigs, they are no joke especially when they have had blood and meat from the traps we used to set to cull them off. They can get huge and be extremely aggressive. This movie terrified me as a child.
This film is like poetry in motion
Can you still get to the filming locations ? And is the Razorback head or any other props still around ?
Fun fact: the director, Russell Mulcahy, also wrote and directed the first music video aired on MTV, video killed the radio star.
Wow that is a serious flex! That was the og of music videos.
If Jaws was an exploitation movie!
If you think you like this movie you need to checkout this other underrated obscure horror flick from 2002 called Sabertooth.
About a genetically cloned Sabertooth tiger that just escaped from captivity and terrorizes the campers in the woods.
That movie is also like jaws on land
Jaws but with a pig
I remember that actor from the Logan's Run tv series. This is a damned good film. Its shot really well, looks like something out of a comic book.
Use to have this in betamax. Good times.
Yeah jaws on Land it good. 🇦🇺🐗💀😆👍
If you think you like this movie you definitely need to checkout this other underrated obscure horror flick from 2002 called Sabertooth.
It's about a genetically cloned Sabertooth tiger that escapes from captivity in a lab and terrorizes the campers in the woods.
That movie is also like Jaws but with a Sabertooth tiger instead of a shark
a lot better than the piss poor BOAR 2017
Razorback ain’t fuckin’ around
I like to see King Kong fight a giant Warthog
Have Godzilla make the world's most massive BBQ ever
@@happyavacado1495 Ha that's a good one 👍
I just typed Razorback into Amazon, and it suggested a long handled back shaver. Nein danke!! 🤣 AI is... rubbish!
