Mvt. III grew on me with a second listen.
I do not find Krenek's work to be that enticing but I appreciate the opportunity to listen and judge. It has been many years since I listened to any of his concertos and this is a new one to me, so many thanks.
His concertos are not his best shit, tho. The symphonies, quartets and piano music... Those are major words
