I think 2009 is when they started dating. Catherine did not want Rob to date in 2008 cause Kirsten wasa minor then and she also had a boyfriend. So I think New Moon or Eclipse did it.

Despite the haters out there, I hope they are and that they're happy, cuz I happen to love Rob and I like her a lot, too, so it'd be wonderful if they made each other as happy as they look here. Interesting point, both don't have anything lined up next...kristen did say she was going to take some time off, so that condridicts that theory. im glad she jumped on snow white, it will help her move on from twilight.
