If you want to see lots of identical Southern Railway Class 377s then take a walk along the River Arun starting at Arundel. There are multiple places where you can cross the Arun Valley Line through unmanned gates. Most of the walk along the River Arun you can get a good view of trains and also plenty of warning as they use their horns to warn pedestrians crossing the line.
