Part of the problem with Marvin Harrison Jr. production is that the offensive coordinator doesn't seem to make an effort to get him the ball. They only ever throw to him down the field, with no easy stuff like screens or rub routes like you see Nabers getting constantly. Though even with that consideration, he has been a little disappointing, especially with all the drops.
A lot of those catches were on screen plays and the 20+ yard TD was a garbage time TD on Desmond King when Wiggins was not in coverage. The box score doesn’t tell the story when they were matched up
Ah yes Quinyon mitchell the guy who has not allowed a TD or over 30 rec yds Get only an A (ik petty but still if brock and bo get a A+ certainly one of the hardest positions to transition to into the NFL deserves an A+)
I love Mitchell however to give an A+ I have to be very nitpicking. He’s allowed 33 receptions, grades middle of the pack in run defense, and has the luxury of playing alongside Slay. All that said, there is a conversation that he could be an A+
I could have waited two more weeks for the season to end, but I have lots of other planned content so I wanted to get this one out while I have the time. Plus the season is almost over so I think we have seen a large enough sample size to get this video out
Joe Alts pass blocking is elite, his run blocking is good. Not great, not elite. Loved the pick but after the playoff loss im sure the chargers draft reciever or tight end instead of interior line. Alt is so so good. A top 5 RT already?
I understand the pick 26 is late but at the same time if you’re taking an interior lineman at pick number 26 he no longer gets a pass for being a late pick. Because although it’s late in the first round, it’s still early for an interior offensive lineman. I would be tougher on a center/guard at 26 then I would a wide receiver at 31 but you were just the opposite
I really agree with your ratings I like the way you where tough on them cause other UA-camrs would be throwing out A’s out there ass because there rookies but rookies shouldn’t be ranked a A because there ok they should be ranked an A because they stand out
I am not a 49er fan. I’m nowhere near San Francisco. I live in New Jersey and I’m diehard Jet Fan but a D+ for Ricky Pierre soul is just way off the Mark. First of all a wide receiver taken at the end of the first round you’re not really gonna expect much fromas a rookie then throw in the fact he caught a bullet before the season started and he ended up with 31 catches 400 yards and three touchdowns then add 45 rushing yards?? Again you’re taking a receiver at pick 31 chances are you’re hoping for a number 2. Anything they would’ve got from him this year after missing training camp would’ve been a blessing. I think at minimum he is a C+ but I would give him a B/B-.
I’m gonna be honest with you. I did not think that Marvin Harrison Junior was the slam dunk that everybody thought he was. I honestly thought that Malik Nabers would’ve been successful wherever he went and Marvin Harrison needed an ideal situation to be very good. Now that’s not to say I think he’s gonna be a bust. I don’t but at the time I had NABERS as number one and I like Thomas as much as Harrison.. granted I never would’ve done that as a GM but my point was I would rather be a team at number five or six over a team like the Cardinals
I can see what you saw, though I will counter this a smidge. I loved Nabers as a prospect too, but Marv had and still has superstar written all over him. Elite hands, great route running, awareness, jump ball, etc etc. Nabers has a speed advantage, but coming out of college I had Marv soundly as my WR1. I still believe he will be great, just needs chemistry with Kyler, and an OC who will make Marv the offensive focus like how NY did with Nabers
Joe Alt stats : 515 pass blocking snaps, 6 sacks allowed, 7 Penalties, plays RT = A. Taliese Fuaga : 523 pass blocking snaps, 5 sacks allowed, 7 penalties, plays LT = B. Dude what ? Dont make up the grades on the spot, prepare your video, grade them and then after talk about guys, this makes no sense.
Grades are not only about stats.... it is about how the player looked and their potential. Joe Alt gave up six sacks but how has he looked on every other play? There are two sides to the evaluation
Yeah this guys a hella casual, apparently letting up a 50% off of 62 targets and allowing a 66.7 passer rating isn’t good or bad and is an up and down year
Respectfully your reasoning for Nix to get a A+ makes absolutely no sense lol he’s clearly heavily reliant on the scheme, you got players who are arguably top 10 in their position with a worse grade then Nix who is without a doubt not a top 20 qb
he was the same way in college scheme reliant. He's a solid player and the scenario he's in is really good but look at Drake Maye with the worst pass catchers and offensive line in the league who's somehow managing to somehow make it work.

Drake Maye is an A+ in my heart
he just an A+ in general he's really dam good

Brian Thomas Junior is legit. I just started watching football this year and even I know who he is😂😂
“Nice day vs nabers” Malik had 10 catches 82 yards and a TD and got ravens to comment like 4 penalties

But he’s being mentored by slay so it’s easier for him

@@MetroSportsYT he isn't next to slay???? They play on opposite sides of the field 💀
@@mikehalo6786 are you dumb
Not complaining cuz i like ur content, but dont u think its a bit early?

Plus if you're like my team in the Pittsburgh Steelers your first round guy didn't even end up doing anything due to injury.
As a Seahawks fan, couldn’t agree more with Byron take. W video
Nabers is an A+. On pace for 1000 yards with 4 different Qbs
Brian Thomas jr is better
Malik Nabers is a rookie? I thought he was a 5 year veteran
@@skkatragadda ok? Thats not his point
@@skkatragadda brian thomas jr has 2 more games hes not better lmao
Nice breakdown. New subscriber
Thanks for the sub! I appreciate the support!
BTJ is A+++! Mark my words, He will be a top 3 WR in 2025!!
A MONSTER
Terrion Arnold would have been a crazy pick for eagles, Swapping quiyon and Terrion would help them both.
Quiyon still balling tf out
Quinyon has been better but I think both teams would end up happy

Can you do 2nd round grades on the second round? Great stuff love it. Pretty accurate!
I think I might do a video grading every teams draft class which will include Day 2 picks! So keep an eye out!!
@@MetroSportsYTwhat do you rank this years chargers draft class among other teams

Olu Fashanu is developing nicely. He is now a left tack for the Jets and he playing above average

Even though not technically a 1st round pick, I would have liked for you to grade Keon Coleman, since he was the Bills 1st choice

Dallas Turner is behind Van Ginkle and Greenard, who should the Vikings sit to play Dallas Turner?
That’s great and all but there is a thing called a rotation. And frankly most the season he’s been out of the rotation completely
@@MetroSportsYTmaybe because the guys in front of him are playing amazing and he’s the youngest pass rusher in the league
Malik hasn’t had “quiet days” in 9 games he has 900 yards, he’s been out, if you say a 5-8 reception 50 yard game is “quiet” I understand
4 rec for 41 yds, 6 for 50, 6 for 64 etc, arent noisy games. It wasnt meant to be a slight, he still was an A
@@MetroSportsYT with Tim Boyle,Drew Lock,Daniel Jones,Tommy Devito 💀understand your point tho

How Willam’s get the same grade a maye lol 😂 if he started earlier he would be best qb in draft
Quality over quantity
Only 1st rounders. Not too much thought.
